Job scope:

• Efficiently lead and cultivate the regional procurement organization
• Implement regional procurement initiatives, ensuring timely completion of key projects with a focus on cost optimization, NPI, value analysis, material sourcing, component localization, supplier quality, and indirect spend.
• Develop and execute strategies for key commodities
• Promote new technology and innovation with suppliers for product development, emphasizing cost optimization and performance enhancement
• Collaborate with the corporate procurement organization, providing input and contributing to overall procurement, category, and supplier strategy
• Managing distributed suppliers
• Obtain best pricing

Key Requirements:

• Msc / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 7 years of procurement and supply chain experience in a chemical / raw materials / carbon manufacturing environment
• Strategic regional /APAC procurement planning
• High volume manufacturing experience
• Able to travel APAC for work assignment (around 25%)
