We are looking for an Asst Engineer / Engineer to be part of one or more teams in supporting and maintaining systems, keep them up and running smoothly 24/7. The Asst Engineer / Engineer should have broad technical skills and a working background in the System-Level Maintenance in the following disciplines, Information Technology, basic networking skills, computer/servers/storages, embedded systems and/or UPS.

Responsibilities:

• Involve in one or more teams in supporting in supporting and maintaining systems, keep them up and running smoothly
• Report to the Team Lead/Service Delivery Manager and in fulfilling SLA and KPI in accordance to maintenance contractual agreement.
• Candidate with strong knowledge or skillset will be considered as Team Lead.
• Assist Team Lead/Service Delivery Manager to deliver contract obligation within budget.
• Able to operate and thrive in a dynamic work environment where you are required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaison with procurement and equipment vendors.
• To perform routine Preventive Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures.
• To carry out Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures, involving fault troubleshooting, diagnosis & replacement of software/equipment/module/component at sites and/or workshop.
• Provide engineering services such as engineering reports, supply support, configuration control and management and obsolescence management.
• Provide solutions to technical problem associate with IT systems.
• Ability to install/configure/backup & recovery/manage/troubleshoot servers (MS Server, VMWare and Linux), clients, storages, SharePoint and network related issues with relevant IT security standards.
• Arrange and attend monthly meetings with customers.
• Perform 24/7 off-site standby for fault activation after office hours.
• Required to travel to sites for work

Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, IT, Networking and/or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3-year experience in a similar engineering-related capacity.
• Knowledge in managing and maintaining IT and networking equipment.
• System knowledge and technical skill with experience on the following :
• System: Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server 2003-2019, SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010, MS_SQL, Office, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, FTP.
• System: Red-Hat, Linux
• Virtualization software: VMware
• Networking Equipment: Firewall, Routers, Switches
• NAS Storage: SAN Storage, NetApp Storage
• Good diagnostic and fault solving skills
• Positive work ethics and team player.

• Thrive in multi-disciplinary and cross-functional environments
• Able to work effectively in an indoor/outdoor environments
• Knowledge on “know how” to perform clients and servers hardening, OS & software patching will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Networking, Microsoft System Administration, SharePoint, Red-Hat, Linux, VMware and Storage functions will be an added advantage.
• Preferably with experience in System-Level Maintenance in the following disciplines is highly preferred (Networking, computer/servers and Storage function). Other Engineering-related experience may be considered.

Job Description

• Supervise all engineering works, restricted activities civil, architectural, electrical and mechanical works carried out by the Contractors, SWCs, etc for all Works within the Railway Protection Zone

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience in the construction of civil and structure projects or related field ;
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board and is registered as Resident Engineer with Institution of Engineers Singapore ;

1. Primary Responsibilities

• Quality Planning & Documentation: Develop, implement, and maintain a project-specific Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plan that aligns with BCA CONQUAS standards, ensuring all quality processes meet assessment criteria.
• CONQUAS Compliance Monitoring: Monitor construction activities to meet CONQUAS requirements, ensuring each component (structural, architectural, and M&E works) adheres to the system’s quality benchmarks and detailed criteria.
• Material Inspection & Testing: Oversee the inspection and testing of materials used on-site, ensuring conformity with BCA-approved materials and standards under CONQUAS. This includes managing third-party testing agencies when required.
• Site Audits & Inspections: Conduct frequent site inspections and audits focused on CONQUAS criteria, including workmanship, material application, and defect minimization in structural, architectural, and M&E works.
• Non-Conformance Management (NCR): Identify, document, and address non-conformances, particularly those impacting CONQUAS scoring. Recommend corrective actions, ensuring rectifications align with quality standards to avoid future issues.

2. Collaboration with Project Team

• Coordination with Site Engineers & Supervisors: Work closely with site engineers and supervisors to ensure construction methods comply with CONQUAS specifications, providing guidance on quality protocols and rectifications as needed.
• Client & Consultant Interaction: Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.

3. Reporting & Documentation

• Quality & CONQUAS Reports: Prepare quality and assessment reports, including checklists and summaries that reflect compliance with CONQUAS scoring standards, inspection records, and non-conformance resolutions.
• Record Management: Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, including BCA CONQUAS documentation, material certificates, inspection logs, and testing results.

4. Technical Skills and Knowledge

• CONQUAS Standards & Guidelines: In-depth knowledge of BCA’s CONQUAS standards, especially in structural, architectural, and M&E works criteria, assessment scoring, and inspection guidelines.
• Inspection Techniques & Tools: Proficiency in inspection techniques and tools that align with CONQUAS criteria, including non-destructive testing (NDT) and visual inspection practices.

5. Training & Development

• CONQUAS Training for Team: Train the construction team on CONQUAS requirements, quality assessment protocols, and best practices to enhance work quality and scoring.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives that reflect CONQUAS requirements, addressing observed quality gaps with updates to procedures.

6. Qualifications

• Education: Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within the construction industry, with added experience in managing Quality Marks assessment processes or certifications a significant advantage
• Certifications: BCA-Approved CONQUAS training or relevant quality certification such as ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to assess and improve quality standards.

7. Key Competencies

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on details in line with CONQUAS quality metrics for structure, architecture, and M&E works.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate quality standards, updates, and CONQUAS requirements to all team members and stakeholders.
• Problem Solving & Decision-Making: Effective in resolving quality issues that may affect CONQUAS scoring, ensuring timely solutions.
• Adaptability: Ability to adjust processes to meet dynamic project needs while adhering to CONQUAS standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install GT Power & Distribution Transformers, HT & LV Switchgear, and substation equipment.
• Oversee material planning, cable tray/support installation, and project coordination.
• Lead testing & commissioning of electrical systems.
• Perform quantity surveying and ensure quality assurance/control.
• Manage electrical project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with other service providers to ensure smooth site installations

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years experience in electrical engineering, ideally in the semiconductor industry.
• Proven expertise in electrical system installation and project management.
• Strong skills in material planning, quantity surveying, and quality control.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
