Eigen Energy is a systems integrator for solar energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, with technical competencies in engineering and construction, energy management, software engineering and cross platform integration.

We are looking for a Assistant Engineer to assist with the scheduling, planning, forecasting, resourcing, and managing of technical activities to ensure project accuracy and quality. The Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects and will establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead installation team to carry out solar panel installation works which include installation of solar panels on the roof, installation of solar PV inverter and connection to the existing electrical switch board
• Manage multiple solar installation projects across Singapore
• Liaise with client, contactors and internal teams to ensure ontime project delivery
• Execute project installation with the M&E shop drawings provided by engineer
• Assist with ad-hoc duties if needed

Requirement:

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in electrical engineering, solar field is preferred
• Able to read and understand M&E shop drawings
• Able to work outdoor, under the sun

SB Engineer (Class 2)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the smooth and safe operation of facilities, including steam systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor control systems (BMS and distributed control systems) to ensure proper plant operating status.
• Conduct regular field inspections of plants, stations, and subsystems to maintain safe operating conditions.
• Supervise and lead boiler and plant operators, ensuring treatment processes meet emission limits and process parameters.
• Identify optimization opportunities and support the implementation of approved tasks by the site manager.
• Develop, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for plant operations and maintenance.
• Analyze steam operation data and plant performance, providing periodic reports.
• Manage recovery from plant process upsets and equipment malfunctions.
• Perform routine inspections and testing to ensure equipment safety and efficient operations.
• Maintain and update logs of maintenance activities and repair procedures using CMMS.
• Inspect facilities for hazards such as leaks, corrosion, or temperature extremes.
• Monitor steam pressure and temperature to ensure safe operations.
• Advise management on process efficiency improvements and cost reduction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by the site manager.

Requirements:

• Class 2 Steam Engineer certification (MOM/Singapore Polytechnic).
• Familiarity with FMEA, HAZAOP, and Job Hazard Analysis methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal, management, and decision-making skills.
• Innovative, analytical, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• First-Aid certification (advantageous).
• Safety-focused mindset and compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices.

Responsibilities

· Assist Project Manager in project management, survey, managing site works, construction activities, monitor work schedules, update progress, planning and implementation in accordance to master work plan and scope of work within project budget.

· Provide guidance and supervision to contractors/ in-­house workers in relation to Electrical/ Structured cabling works in accordance to proposal for site build for cabling infrastructure, installation quality, and adherence to site work safety requirements and to resolve technical issues.

· Prepare project submissions, tenders, system designs, installation drawing & coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects

· Participate in project meetings and resolving project issues

Requirements

• Candidates should possess at least a Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/ Engineering or its equivalent.

• At least 1-­3 years Project Management and hands on working experience in Electrical and/or Structured Cabling.

7. Ensure all the equipment for each project are duly accounted for and all relevant documentations are in place.

8. Respond to and manage customer feedback/complaints and take corrective/preventive action.

5. Commissioning (Cx) Engineer – Mechanical, Data Centre MEP

Role: Supports the lead mechanical commissioning engineer by conducting tests and inspections of mechanical systems critical to data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the commissioning and performance testing of mechanical systems, including chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, and CRAC units.

Perform functional tests of HVAC and cooling systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and environmental requirements for continuous operation.

Document mechanical system test results and prepare reports for the Cx Lead Engineer.

Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues, ensuring systems are optimized for redundancy and cooling performance.

Ensure that all mechanical systems meet the data center’s performance, efficiency, and reliability standards.

Skills Required: Knowledge of HVAC and cooling systems for data centers, mechanical testing and troubleshooting skills, ability to follow detailed commissioning procedures, and attention to detail in documentation.
