Job Overview:

The Head of Finance / Finance Manager will lead and manage the finance function within the organization. The role is responsible for the overall financial health of the business, providing strategic financial, managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and advising senior management on financial matters.

Job Duties:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure that all reports are accurate and completed on time.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s budget. Track and analyze variances between actual performance and forecasts, providing explanations and recommendations for improvement.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage day-to-day cash flow, including monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable. Prepare cash flow projections and assist with liquidity planning.
• Cost Control & Analysis: Review entire group’s expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies. Analyze departmental budgets to ensure adherence to financial plans.
• Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards (e.g., VAT, GAAP, tax filings). Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and tax filings.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support key business decisions, including profitability analysis, investment evaluations, and capital expenditure proposals.
• Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial assets. Continuously assess and improve financial processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives. Ensure alignment between finance and other functions, such as operations, sales, and HR.
• Compliance : Review/prepare annual tax computation, quarterly GST, audit accounts, AGM, and XBRL.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, relevant professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of financial statements, analysis, and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAGE 300).
• Knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Duties:

• Responsible as Overall on site in-charge for property management services under the contract with the client
• Responsible for smooth building/facilities management operation including developing guidelines/SOP and advise Client with options available and best resolution based on requirements, Client practices and site circumstances
• Responsible for incident control, management, activation of rightful parties for incident response and timely reporting/escalation
• Responsible for maintenance and upgrading activities including power shutdown for High Tension/Low Tension HT/LT serving/genset load test, cyclical replacement works from planning, execution till defects closure
• Responsible to advise Client and make recommendation ensuring its maintenance regime by contractors is timely, appropriate and adequate and licenses renewal / authorities’ submission are in compliance with latest authorities’ requirements, Acts, Regulation, Singapore standards, Code of Practices
• Responsible for preparation of annual OPX/CAPEX Budget, its control and monitoring

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical & Air-conditioning Engineering or equivalent
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in managing similar facilities and data centre facilities, with three (3) years managerial roles in similar project scale and competent to handle key building infrastructure systems, and FM200, VESDA, CRAU, BMS
• Compulsory certification: bizSAFE Level 2, CERT training/ WSQ Respond to Fire & HazMat Emergency and WSQ Implement Incident Management Process.
• Additional qualifications of EMA Licensed electrical worker, BCA Certified Green Mark Manager (GMM), BCA Green Mark Professional (GMP). BCA Green Mark Facilities Manager (GMFM), Singapore certified Energy Manager, etc., will be highly desirable.
