About The Role

To work with the Director, Student Recruitment and Admissions, for the planning and managing of the University’s student recruitment strategies, operational plans for marketing, outreach and promotional events, competitor analysis and budget management. In addition, to oversee CRM functions including provision of programme advisory to prospective applicants, calls and leads management.

What You Will Be Doing

Student Recruitment and Outreach

• To plan and manage student recruitment and outreach activities/events such as open houses, education fairs, information sessions, seminars, talks, school/university/company visits, etc., for the purpose of recruiting students.
• To plan and organise outreach activities/events, for e.g., dialogue sessions, for the Schools.
• To collaborate with external stakeholders, for e.g., Institutes of Higher Learning (Polytechnics and ITE) and industry partners, to organise outreach activities/events to promote the University’s programmes locally.
• To make presentations to prospective applicants at outreach events such as open houses, education fairs, information sessions, etc., conducted in schools, polytechnics, universities, external organisations, and so on.
• To produce and keep updated all marketing collaterals including prospectuses, brochures, inserts, flyers and any other marketing/publicity materials.
• To prepare student recruitment reports with details of outreach strategies and execution plans.
• To prepare and manage budget and financial reports of student recruitment and outreach expenses.
• To manage and analyse the statistics of student recruitment and outreach activities/events.
• To prepare competitor analysis reports, where required.
• To source for sponsor organisations for sponsorship programme.

Programme Counselling and Customer Service

• To manage enquiries and provide appropriate counselling, guidance and encouragement to the general public attending the outreach activities/events who are interested in the University’s programmes.
• To manage programme enquiries via phone, email and walk-ins, etc., received by staff.
• To manage the leads database, the CRM system and the SRC hotline.
• To prepare and analyse email and hotline statistical reports for service quality monitoring and improvement purposes.
• To manage and analyse leads captured via phone, email, walk-ins and from other student recruitment and outreach activities, and to provide recommendations for improvements.
• To manage and review all enquiries and feedback from interested applicants/signed-up applicants.

Website Management

• To ensure accurate and up-to-date information relating to SRC’s sections on the SUSS website.
• To copy edit/vet all publicity materials relating to SRC before the information is posted on the SUSS website.

Job Requirements

• Degree with at least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in marketing and business-oriented with customer service focused perspective, of which 3 years at managerial level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• A good team player with good interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills.

Oversee APEME's IT procurement strategy from the Asia-Pacific region, assuring project success through vendor alliances, soliciting, and assessing bids and quotes, and giving detailed cost analysis to IT leadership. Procurement and Contracting

• Escalate and manage project risk and contingency plan.

Support Management

• Maintain record for Software licenses, hardware support’s license expiry and tracking for all sites in the AP region.
• Assist in the system upgrade for IT Services Tools, gather the requirement and perform the data migration.
• Support site hardware refresh plans and provide recommendation on hardware standards internally before liaison with the vendors.
• Assist with preparation of annual IT budgets and long-range plans.
• Assist management in process improvement to resolve any hardware end-of-life, or delivery issues.
• Provide generic support to IT Field Services team wherever required.

Asset Management

• Create and maintain a thorough and efficient record system to track all IT assets across AP region.
• Oversee, collate and catalogue market research, project analysis and vendor/resource library.
• Coordinate the leasing of IT equipment as directed by IT management.
• Liaise with IT and site management to coordinate the return of IT equipment for all leavers.
• Administer and maintain the hardware refreshment and life cycle, and acts as the primary liaison with the business for disposal of hardware (with or without value).

• Support the Information Technology team with:
• Educating users regarding procedures for ensuring physical security of technological devices (e.g., personal computers, handheld devices including cell phone).
• Ensuring all backup tapes are locked in a secure location.
• Educating users regarding procedures for securing Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
• Ensuring the workshop, computer and telephone rooms are kept locked at all times and access is restricted.
• Ensuring that computer and telephone rooms are free of food, drink, and trash.
• Maintaining compliance with policies regarding limiting the storage of excess materials in the computer and telephone rooms.
• Ensuring redundant hardware is decommissioned, wipe and disposed in strict accordance with corporate policies.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

- High school diploma/GCSE/ O’Level equivalent (essential)

- Technical IT training (an advantage)

- Experience in Procurement, preferably within an IT environment

Job Requirement:

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Must have more than 20 years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering works
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills and strong analytical skills in bilingual
• Equipped with leadership skills in which able to lead the engineers in completing the jobs.
• Able to work 6 days per week at the Site office.
• Experienced in the construction of high-rise buildings of at least 100m high, with deep basement structures.
• Possess excellent leadership, planning, good management skills, interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills to lead a team of engineers and contractors while liaising with peers and colleagues from various departments. Possess the mental and physical stamina to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines/vision.
