ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

In anticipation of future bids and projects in Defence and Public Security sectors, Engineering Department requires system engineers who has a track record of building, deploying and maintaining the IT infrastructure in an enterprise environment. Domain knowledge in enterprise data networks and/or cybersecurity is desirable.

The System Engineer is to assist with IT infrastructure solutions according to project requirements and drive transformation for internal/external customers by adopting established platforms. The candidate will be involved with the requirements gathering, preparation of proposals, and conduct of presentations to customers or system owners. Maintenance Coordination:

• Conduct and facilitate regular inspections, diagnostic tests, and scheduled maintenance for all vehicle assets including on-board equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
• Develop maintenance schedules, ensuring adherence to protocols and manufacturer's guidelines for regular inspections, software updates, and component replacements.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain meticulous records of Level 1 troubleshooting procedures, data collection findings, and maintenance activities performed on the buses.

Operational Coordination:

• Coordinate operational activities including scheduling, resource allocation, and route optimization for the AV fleet.

Qualifications:

• Minimally a diploma in relevant Engineering field with equivalent work experience, with a focus on mechatronics preferred

Accountabilities:

• Understand the customer’s network structure and become familiar with the Customer’s network implementation and support processes and procedures to ensure supporting a network with proper SLAs.
