Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the enhancement and onboarding processes of our order management platform. This role involves end-to-end management of projects related to onboarding new FIX-in/FIX-out project and brokers, coordinating with users, vendors, and development teams to ensure successful system implementation. You will be responsible for gathering system requirements, documenting workflows, and performing user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the platform is scalable and efficient. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in equities trading products, FIX protocols, and be familiar with both Agile methodologies and a variety of technical tools.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Lead the enhancement of the order management platform, including onboarding new FIX-in/FIX-out project and brokers.
ā¢ Plan, coordinate, and liaise with users, vendors, and development teams to gather system requirements and manage documentation processes.
ā¢ Conduct and oversee user acceptance tests (UAT) to ensure successful and scalable system implementations.
ā¢ Manage all project activities from scoping through to implementation, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
ā¢ Collaborate with Production L2/L1 teams to troubleshoot incidents, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
ā¢ Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and maintaining high-quality standards.
ā¢ Demonstrate technical expertise and lead by example, inspiring the team to deliver exceptional results.
ā¢ Ensure projects align with company goals and adhere to best practices for application development and deployment.
Required Experience and Skills:
ā¢ Basic knowledge of equities trading products, with familiarity in trade processing and routing an advantage.
ā¢ Expertise in the FIX protocols for financial transactions is required.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of Oracle 19c, PostgreSQL, vbscript, Git, and Jenkins is an advantage.
ā¢ Solid understanding of internet and mobile banking technologies and concepts.
ā¢ Experience in Agile methodologies and practices is a must.
ā¢ Proven ability to manage medium to large-scale application projects from start to finish, including requirements analysis, design, quality assurance (QA), testing, and version control management.
ā¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
ā¢ High sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient solutions.
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
ā¢ At least 5 years of experience in application development, preferably within a banking environment.
ā¢ Bachelorās degree in computer science or equivalent field.
