KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Technology Transfer Initiative:

• Ensuring the smooth transition of technologies from R&D to manufacturing or commercialization.
• Coordinate with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to ensure that technologies are transferred successfully and meet all operational and quality requirements.
• Develop and implement technology transfer plans, timelines, and milestones, tracking progress and addressing potential challenges.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the product or technology is scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives.

Product Development & Innovation:

• Manage product development initiatives from concept through prototyping and final product launch, ensuring the integration of research outcomes into viable products.
• Work closely with R&D teams to understand the scientific and technological aspects of innovations and translate these into marketable products.
• Coordinate the activities of R&D teams, including scientists, engineers, and regulatory experts, to ensure timely and effective product development.
• Define product requirements based on market needs, customer feedback, and technological capabilities.

Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:

• Partner with R&D, manufacturing, marketing, regulatory, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Provide clear communication across teams to ensure everyone is aligned with product goals, timelines, and expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between R&D teams and other functional departments to facilitate information flow and decision-making.

Regulatory and Compliance Management:

• Ensure that all products meet regulatory and compliance standards for their respective markets.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams to support the preparation of necessary documentation for product approval or commercialization.
• Maintain an understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations to ensure products meet all necessary certifications and legal requirements.

Product Launch & Commercialization:

• Develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and distribution plans, in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams.
• Monitor and support the product during the commercialization phase to ensure successful market entry and adoption.
• Provide input and recommendations to enhance product portfolio based on customer feedback and market data.

Risk Management and Problem-Solving:

• Identify potential risks during the technology transfer and development phases, proactively addressing challenges to ensure the timely delivery of the product.
• Address technical and operational issues that may arise during the transfer of technologies to manufacturing or commercialization.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Use data and analytics to track the progress and success of technology transfer projects and product development efforts.
• Regularly update leadership on progress, challenges, and key milestones in the technology transfer process and product lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for improving the technology transfer process and product development strategies.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating new approaches and best practices into the product management lifecycle.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master’s, PhD, or MBA) is a plus.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in product management, technology transfer, or R&D management, ideally within a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or technology-driven industry.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of R&D and technology transfer processes, including both technical and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to the industry (e.g., FDA, EMA, NMPA, HSA, ISO).
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management and commercialization strategies.

Requirements:

As the Head of the Regional Marketing Team based in Singapore, you will lead efforts in:

• Developing and executing sales and market strategies.
• Providing sales support and driving New Product Introductions (NPI) and portfolio management for the BU Communications team across the APAC region.

Sales and Market Strategy Focus

* Good knowledge and experience in AWS services (or Azure) and cloud solutioning. Certified AWS/Azure solution architect a plus.

* Experience in architecture, design, implementation and deployment of web application, ie solution architecting.

* Able to gel infrastructure architecture with application design and security. Able to design end to end covering different type of infrastructure services and integration sources.
