• Performance management, reporting & analytics of portfolios. Update and maintain portfolio analytics database.
• Generate comprehensive reports on portfolio performance, asset allocation, and other relevant metrics for internal use.
• Scanning & proactive tracking of macro & micro trends in public/ private markets as they relate to portfolios.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on investment opportunities, conduct market research, across various asset classes including equities, fixed income, private equity, and private debt. Analyse New Deals and prepare investment memos and recommendations for investment committee and board approvals.
• Design & Prepare Other Ad-hoc & Thematic Decks for meetings.
• Monitor Performance of Discretionary Mandates
• Monitor Performance of Private Equity Funds & Direct Investments
• Public/ Private Markets Deal Due Diligence & Investment Reporting
• Execute investment management strategies to optimize returns while aligning with risk tolerance and client objectives.
• Regularly review and rebalance portfolios in conjunction with the investment operations teams and MD inputs to ensure alignment with changing market conditions and client objectives.

Portfolio Management System (Bloomberg) Analytics Support:

• Leverage the portfolio management system to enhance portfolio analytics such as stress and risk testing of the holdings etc.
• Utilize system functionality to produce insightful dashboards as alternate views to better review portfolios.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.
• Working knowledge of investment products, financial markets, investment operations, and industry regulations.
• Prior experience in fund accounting & investment reporting or related roles is required, with a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for analyzing investment performance metrics, identifying trends, and conducting risk assessments. The ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights is highly valuable.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced investment operations environment
• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify operational inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement process improvements is crucial for optimizing investment operations and enhancing efficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with Bloomberg / Other portfolio management software.
• Detailed-oriented, high level of work quality and a team player.

For this role, the incumbent is to be responsible for handling Letter of Credit and Trade Finance documentations, process remittance and loan transactions, verify incoming funds and liaise with banks

• Handle the end-to-end Trade Finance (eg LC, DA, DP, Inward & Outward Remittance, etc).
• Check daily bank transactions (for example, payments and receipts).
• Prepare daily payment instructions to bank (for example Loan and TT/GIRO).
• Verify supporting documents for all the payments to be processed
• Monitor daily cash and loan balances to ensure timely drawdown/rollover/repayment.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly Finance reports.
• Update data/information into the Finance System on a daily basis.
• Ensure that the transactions are in line with internal accounting policies, internal control procedures and bank compliance requirements.

Requirement:

• Diploma in Banking & Finance, Accountancy or Business Administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel.
• Team player with good communication skills.
