The EICA Engineer shall be in the discipline of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control in delivery of large scale power generation project. The Engineer shall have at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience in delivery of large scale industrial/ utilities projects (e.g. waste, water, oil & gas or power) or relevant experience in delivering large solid waste management projects (e.g. WTE, sludge incineration, materials recovery and food waste treatment).

The duties shall include the following but not limited to:

• Work as owner’s engineer to lead the electrical team for project implementation at site.
• Proactive attitude and solution orientated personality with leadership mentality and for the EICA discipline, assisting project director for the contract execution.

Role description:

• Responsible for International Wealth Management business commensurate to Private Banking Finance.
• Take ownership, and be accountable for the timely and accurate calculation, verification, reporting of daily P&L and MI to internal stakeholders.
• Interaction with Business, Operations, Risk, Treasury, FC&R, CMA, Valuations and other functions to resolve booking, valuation, accounting, financial resource and management reporting queries.
• Undertake critical reviews and analysis of IWM business activity with the objective of highlighting significant items to senior management.
• Undertake various month activities which includes Balance Sheet substantiation, transfer pricing, MIS/KPI, EOM financial reporting and validation of key senior management metrics.
• Support cross assets onboarding initiatives across wider firm booking platform as well as assessing legal entity suitability. Additionally, review of new transactions to be done by the Business that involves going through Committee

Skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required:

• Bachelors Degree or Accounting Qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a regional product control within Private Banking
• Experience within Private Banking accounting practices, balance sheet substantiation, transfer pricing and MI reporting.
• Experience with Avaloq banking suite.
• Strong understanding of legal entity and management reporting controls.
• Should wear a control hat always and be able to question/challenge the business to gain clarity.
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint), able to present data in a readable format within a reasonable timeframe. Basic knowledge of digital tools (Power BI, Alteryx etc).
• Self-driven with strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, combined with well-developed inter-personal skills, and independent.
• Strong project management and communication skills with willingness to drive PC focused initiatives across Business lines
• Team player, proactive and self-starting, able to navigate across and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the desired result.
