Job Summary:
As a Private Banker Associate in J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, you are responsible for providing support to a Senior Banker in all facets of managing their books of business. You will play a key role assisting a Senior Banker in new client acquisitions and retention through a broad knowledge of investments, banking, trust services and financial planning. Your primary goal is to enhance client experience and assist our Senior Banker in delivering exceptional wealth management solutions to clients.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide leverage to Senior Banker on daily client priorities including maintaining client relationships, answering clients’ enquiries, day-to-day account operations.
2. Support Senior Banker during the sales process and ongoing client management, which includes reviewing and building pitch books, coordinating information, communicating with clients and executing on client needs.
3. Support Senior Banker on client hierarchy and pipeline management.
4. Assist Senior Banker in the sale of investments, banking and trust services including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products, and identification of wealth planning opportunities
5. Work in close partnership with Investor in proposing, delivering, and executing solutions for clients; as well as in identifying new business opportunities alongside with Senior Bankers.
6. Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks.
7. Assist senior bankers in preparing presentations and proposals, and send out various promotion items to clients on request.
8. Keep track of Clients, AUMs and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance.
9. Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, operational, and due diligence requirements.
Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities:
1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience in Private Banking, with proven track record in managing UHNW clients.
3. Strong knowledge of Wealth Management business in SEA market, well versed across all asset classes, and deep understanding on Compliance, Risk and Regulatory frameworks.
4. Experience in managing relationships with both clients and internal partners across multiple countries and regions to drive our sales agenda.
5. Dynamic team player who is self-motivated and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to proactively engage multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority to drive our sales agenda and operate with strong sense of urgency.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities:
1. Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred.
2. If you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2.
3. This is in order to gest registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.
