We are looking for a SAP EDI Specialist on a 1 year extendable contract basis.
Job Description & Requirements
Driving improvement initiatives for B2B/ EDI integration as requested by Global Supply Chain including business and technical analysis, carry out SAP EDI root-case analysis, driving recommendation on systems and process improvements include preparation for documentation on the EDI and integration functional specifications. This role involves a detailed analysis of SAP transactions and tables i.e. material documentations/ SAP queries.
Key Responsibilities
· Detailed understanding of SAP EDI configuration and able to demonstrate the ability to extract/ analyse EDI transactional data from SAP tables to carry out error root-cause analysis.
· Requirement gathering, translating business requirements to SAP EDI functional specifications for continuous improvements.
· Provide EDI process analysis and system documentation for development components explaining requirements and design as prescribed by the business users.
· Take ownership and drive EDI improvement project deliverables.
· Work with the business to map out the end-to-end EDI business processes and identify areas where additional management/ system controls are needed to strengthen the inventory management and goods movements processes across, contract manufacturers and third-party logistics providers.
· Drive EDI project coordination in terms of activities and deliverables between regional logistics, contract manufacturers and 3rd party logistics providers.
· Define work plans and deliverables including data analysis, process mapping, test scenarios, test steps, scripts, test data and plans, conducting QA, integration testing, implementation support i.e. data flow diagram and EDI process/ system documentation
· Chair the regular EDI error resolution drumbeat meetings by working closely with internal and external businesses to rectify EDI errors.
· Create and produce EDI reporting / dashboards and report findings and the next steps of resolutions to the global supply chain management team.
· Support and provide consultation on B2B issues, escalations that are related to finished goods, spares and accessories inventory management, refurbishment, order to cash/returns.
· Work with cross functional teams both internal and external (applications and infrastructure) to solve business problems related to EDI.
Expereince and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
· Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in SAP Logistics EDI/B2B solution implementation primarily integration with 3PL, preferably in a multinational organization environment
· Extensive understanding of Logistics operations i.e. GR, putaway, GI/fulfilment intercompany inventory movements.
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, IT and vendors.
