• Handle full set of Accounts in Account Payable, Account Receivable, other Accounting Tasks
• Process vendor invoices payment.
• Process expense claims and ensure compliance with company policy. Ensure expenses are classified correctly into the general ledger accounts and cost centres.
• Process incoming and outgoing inter-company billing and reconcile monthly inter-company balances to ensure timely and complete reporting.
• Process debit and credit notes.
• Perform monthly dunning process and send balance statements to customers.
• Work closely with sales and customer service teams for following-up collection from customers.
• Regular update of receivable ageing and submission to sales and management.
• Reconcile customer accounts where needed.
• Monthly bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedule preparation.
• Perform monthly closing process and intercompany reconciliation.
• Correspondence with banks on LC documents and formalities.

Requirements:

• Technical Competence: Strong experience with SAP and familiarity with IRAS reporting.
• Independence: Ability to work autonomously, as the manager is based in Jakarta.
• Maturity: Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving skills, and reliability in a remote supervision setting.
• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate / NITEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.

The Job

Operational Responsibilities:

• Monitor port operations and enforce cargo processes to ensure vessel productivity and optimal resource allocation, achieving recommended cargo handling productivity rates.
• Communicate, control, and troubleshoot all port operations flow and issues within the assigned sector.
• Liaise with vessel crew regarding safety and operational matters related to the vessel.
• Conduct checks and facilitate the handover/takeover of the wharf between stevedore companies and relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records/documents across multiple platforms pertaining to the overall cargo operations of the vessel.
• Promptly communicate and update information related to vessel activities, including operational progress and any disruptions or stoppages.
• Communicate with stevedore vessel checkers and foremen’s gang regarding any matters related to cargo operations.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Oversee cargo handling operations and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Conduct thorough checks on gang workers’ passes and verify the validity of equipment certificates.
• Review submitted checklists to confirm accurate completion and documentation of necessary safety procedures, equipment checks, and protocols.
• Review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Lifting Plans to ensure alignment with safety requirements.
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare reports on accidents, near-miss incidents, and safety violations.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions taken.

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform other administrative duties and handle ad-hoc tasks as instructed by supervisors.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and safety guidelines while proactively incorporating them into daily operations.

Job Requirement

• Minimum ITE educational qualification.
• Strong knowledge of port operations, cargo handling, and vessel operations would be an added advantage.

• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection as per customer requirement.
• Maintain calibration record of measuring equipment.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC/Higer NITEC in Precision Engineering.
• 2 -3 years of relevant QC experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge.

Set up in 2009, the Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC) is a bipartite initiative of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF). The MWC is a non-government organisation whose mission is to champion fair employment practices and the well-being of migrant workers in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance to migrant workers referred by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) in order to meet their needs for temporary housing and food while MOM resolves their cases.
• Meet the needs of distressed migrant workers by providing for temporary shelter, sustenance or any other urgent needs while their grievances are resolved through the statutory recovery processes.
• Provide advice and case representation services to aggrieved migrant workers.
• Champion the migrant worker cause through public advocacy.
• Build good relationships with stakeholders such as MOM, other government agency partners and other migrant NGOs.
• Assess claims made by migrant workers, provide the necessary advice and action, as well as escalate legitimate claims cases to the authorities for conciliation and enforcement.
• Monitor progress of cases till closure (i.e. point of repatriation, or transfer of employer) and ensure proper documentation.
• Assess requests involving migrant workers and make recommendations to the MWC’s management and trustees.
• Support MWC in other areas when the need arises.

• Develop and optimize analytical methods for the characterization of pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
