The Sourcing Specialist is a support role to the GSC (Global Supply Chain) Strategic Sourcing Managers providing support in the areas of indirect procurement, contract services procurement, contract execution, and supplier onboarding.

Job Responsibilities:

• Indirect only, professional services
• Conduct regional/site specific RFPs of multiple sites in parallel, perform commercial bid evaluation, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on scope levelling, ensuring all bidders have submitted proposals on the same level of scope understanding.
• Critically appraise contracts documents to ensure requisite quality.
• Prepare ARL (Award Recommendation Letter) to GSC and DCE.
• Coordinate with related stakeholders to ensure timely routing of contract for signatory.
• Onboard new Regional/Site suppliers, facilitate vendor screening through specific onboarding tool across different categories.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with min 5-7 years experience of Indirect Sourcing (Procurement) experience is a must have. Contract management experience would be secondary.
• Well-versed in program / project management i.e. looking at cost, adhering to timelines etc. Proven track-record of managing high demands and high attention to detail given the nature of the role
• Cost management experience from a procurement perspective
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

The Role: Product Manager BOBI, Director

The Team:

Business Operations and Strategy within the Market Intelligence Technical Operations with the goal of facilitating financial transparency for Market Intelligence Technology Executives to enable data driven business planning and tracking from execution to delivery.

The team delivers trusted strategic management metrics and reporting across Workforce, Vendor, Financials, and Strategic Projects, as well as KPI reporting using PowerBI. The team is expanding into Synergy Reporting, Cloud Spend, Cloud Migration, and Internal Cost Allocation Reporting.

The Impact:

You will be the Product Manager for the Business Intelligence platform (BOBI). BOBI is a cloud native platform, built on AWS. You will be empowered with a team of technical developers, front-end developers and a product owner.

You will be responsible in ensuring that product work is aligned with organizational priorities. You will be responsible to define product deliverables based on the strategic direction of the MI Technology and TBO organization. You will work closely with internal data providers to identify, consume and govern the datasets.

The userbase is expected to remain relatively stable at 500 users, and is indispensable to the core users/stakeholders, it is imperative that the platform is operationally stable but more importantly is seen as the single source of truth for the MI Tech management team.

In order to ensure that the BOBI platform is meeting the requirements of its stakeholders you will define a steering committee, chair meetings, and initiate demo sessions, user training and feedback calls.

Data management will be expected as part of the role, as we continue building and industrializing our Datawarehouse.

6. Maintain the project pipeline and align resources for analysis and execution of task, this will involve tracking of team’s current and future pipeline along with delivery timeline.
7. Ensuring that process and documentations are followed using tools like JIRA, Confluence, ADO, AWS etc.
8. Participating in internal testing of the reporting platform to verify if the reports satisfy the Business requirements in terms of accuracy, efficiency, access restrictions etc.
9. Management status reporting of BOBI deliveries on a regular basis

A TYPICAL DAY

My day starts at 8am, although like my colleagues, I often arrive earlier to get set up for the day. I am teaching 4 out of a possible 5, 60 minute lessons today across different year groups. The school really supports me in thinking outside the box to creatively develop new and exciting learning opportunities in different learning environments. As it is the start of the year, I am really working hard to learn all the names, make a connection with every learner and build learning-focused relationships. At lunchtime I have a duty in the cafeteria and talk to the learners about their day. The teaching day finishes at 3.25pm and today I am running an after-school activity with technical lego in the Makerspace as this is a passion of mine! After I return the learners to the cafeteria to be picked up, I head back to my learning area to collaborate on some planning, complete some marking and check my emails. I am looking forward to the forthcoming Learning trip and will pop to the nearby shops on the way home to get some equipment ready for the trip.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• A relevant degree plus teaching qualification (or equivalent)
