Production Planner (Production Control & Logistics)

The Production Planner is required to be able to collect and estimate customer forecast, create 18 months production plan and load it into the SAP system. The position also includes the ability to follow up on schedule attainment and ensure that all orders are delivered on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with SAP, PP and MM Model
• Meet monthly and yearly Revenue targets
• Control inventory and 100% delivery to customer
• Collect and estimate customer forecast, to create 18 months production plan and load it into SAP system
• Monthly submit volume forecast to Finance and weekly outlook, with accuracy
• Weekly release 2 weeks production schedules and fix one week without change
• Daily work with the operation team to follow up on schedule attainment
• Daily work with the material team to understand the material support plan
• Monthly submit 6 months build plan to the IE team to study capacity
• Weekly release ship plan according to client demand and operation output
• Work with quality team if there is an issue
• Weekly update SAP planning

Requirements

• Diploma in production, IE or BA
• 3 years of production planner experience
• Automotive industry experience preferred

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform basic and advanced machine electrical wiring works

- Develop electrical testing jigs and perform testing and validation of machines

- Lead the production team to strictly adhere to production schedule and same time improving the manufacturing process to improve quality, cost, and productivity.

- Creates, implements, and monitors KPI indicators on product quality and section capability

- Provide shop floor feedback to Production Engineering and D&D Department

- Assist the Production Manager to provide quality, cost effective and efficient support for launching of new machine models

- Perform machine pre & post machine power ON inspection checks, machine parameter settings, testing and inspection according to standard

- Able to troubleshoot and resolve machine electrical non conformance

- Perform machine final electrical inspection and adjustments for any defects to maintain high level of quality

- Prepare reports on productivity, quality, claims, etc

- Work with engineering and other departments to improve assembly processes

- Monitor the serviceability of measuring electrical instruments or jigs and fixtures and reporting to Supervisor or Manager any non-compliance condition

- Maintain accurate records of inspection result at each electrical process

Job Requirements:

- Degree or Diploma (Electrical)

- 2-3years working in a machine assembly environment

- A good track record of supporting the department achieving KPI

- Strong understanding of 5S and HSE knowledge

- Able to work effectively in a fast and ever-changing stressful environment

- Maintain good Quality standards, 5S and safety discipline

- Well verse in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook)

- Knowledge of drawing software (Solidworks, Unigraphic, etc) is added advantage
