The Stage Product Development focuses on bespoke designs for customers in a wide range of industries, such as semiconductor, solar, flat panel, hard disk, LED, printed circuit board and 3D printing. In these stages and systems, it comprises of many components such as motors, encoders, bearings, designed fabricated parts, pneumatics, and many more to assemble into a multi-axis stage specifically designed to meet specifications provided by customers.

Job Description

• Communicate with customers
• Understand specifications or requirements from customers
• Design or illustrate electrical diagrams, cables and control boxes
• Liaise with various departments such as purchasing and manufacturing to generate lead times for customers• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM)

• Provide technical support for commissioning, operation, maintenance, and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
• Supervise the specialist vendors and appointed contractors on medical equipment maintenance works
• Check, analyse, and investigate faults/complaints/hazards on medical equipment and assist in mapping out and implementation of required action plans.
• Ensure quality of works conform to standards and practices that the hospital subscribes to, including other quality initiatives driven by hospital and department.
• Support and assist BME Head in coordinating services for medical equipment projects together with IT, Consultants, vendors, contractors and appropriate authorities.
• Work closely with BME team to support procurement activities and related projects to ensure smooth operation
• Perform any other duties as assigned by BME Head.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic or Electro-mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant industry experience with 5 years’ experience in similar capacity
• Good communication and supervisory skills

• Positive work attitude and ability to work with all levels of staff
• Familiar with Hospital BME functions and processes

Responsibilities:
