To plan and schedule for maintenance activities, shutdown works, as well as capital expenditure (Capex) projects.

To work with other professionals in the projects and other discipline to improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns, and develop strategies, procedures and method to improve overall reliability and safety of personnel and processes.

Responsibilities

• To promote the improvement of overall reliability, preventive and corrective maintenance, in addition to responding to breakdowns.

• To plan and schedule planned and unplanned work.

• To assist in scope development of all major and turnaround maintenance events.

• To monitoring and controlling maintenance timeline and costs.

• To write maintenance strategies to help with installation guidelines.

• To plan monthly work schedule and set productivity to be achieved.

• To be responsible for the delivery of maintenance activities in compliance with system specifications.

• To be involved in maintenance/project management.

• To support pre-startup maintenance activities to add value to subsequent maintenance services that follow.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Maintenance) or equivalent preferred

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience as Maintenance Engineer handling maintenance projects in Oil and Gas industry and petrochemical industries preferred

• Those with experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System will be an added-advantage.

Key Qualifications

• Multi-disciplinary understanding of electronics, basic optics, and general physics principles.

• Hand on experience in hardware and circuit validation using lab measurement equipment (oscilloscope, analyzers, etc).
