EOS Defence Systems Pte Ltd has a requirement for an experienced opto-mechanical engineer to join a dynamic R&D team as a Principal Opto-mechanical Engineer in the areas of developing advanced high power and high energy laser systems. The work is challenging, and applicants should be technically capable and experienced to work on the design and development of opto-mechanical technologies and assemblies. Applicants must possess appropriate qualifications, with extensive experience in the areas of developing opto-mechanical technologies and assemblies for precision instruments and different laser systems are essential.

Primary duties:

1. Undertake the design of mechanical and/or opto-mechanical technologies and assemblies for high precision instruments, high power, and high laser systems.
2. Undertake design and development of new assemblies and products.
3. Undertake packaging and prototyping of different mechanical and/or opto-mechanical technologies and assemblies to meet the special requirements for different high power and high energy lasers, amplifiers, and optical assemblies.
4. Undertake installation, alignment, testing, and rectification of prototype lasers, optical assemblies, and components.
5. Provide necessary co-ordination and liaison to support the conduct of effective R&D for different projects.
6. Preparation and maintenance of high standard documentation in respect of design and development work undertaken in accordance with various quality objectives and procedures

Our Client is a leader in the Energy Manufacturing industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Responsible of Electrical Engineer:

• Resolve plant faults by performing troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis.
• Implement approved plant improvement projects and generate technical specifications for equipment parts and work services. Initiate requisitions when necessary.
• Conduct scheduled plant inspections based on the maintenance regime and carry out plant maintenance activities.
• Supervise maintenance contract works and develop work procedures for all maintenance tasks.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on a weekly and monthly basis, covering activities, overhauls, technical matters, and trips.
• Any ad-hoc duty as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Min degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 years of experience in similar industry/ high voltage power system

Responsibilities

EUC Engineer L2

Brief Description:

End-User Support, strong in supporting all Windows, iOS, and macOS systems, applications, and networking related.

Responsibilities

• Basic help desk resolution and service desk delivery.
• Routine System administrative activities
• Resolve incidents escalated by L1/Helpdesk as per the agreed SLAs and timelines. They usually have a Run-Book/KB which they can refer to for immediate resolutions. They are also supposed to coordinate with any other support or dependency groups in case the incident has any linkage.
• Troubleshooting for Alert logs files, transaction logs and backup logs.
• Troubleshoot End to End User Devices
• Run the backups, recovery errors, respond to the request regarding the restoration of the DB
• Responsible on making backup tapes schedule and changes.
• Monitor the metric alerts, performance-related issues like high CPU utilization, Application performance, high Memory utilization, Application tuning and Query.
