1. Scheduling of all incoming jobs and ensure close monitoring and timely delivery.

2. Assist the Production Manager in taking charge of all jobs whenever necessary and ensure delegation and coordination on the necessary works.

3. Understand the full requirements of all manufacturing, servicing and improvement project. Follow up on the kick start, execution, monitoring and work closely with related personnel to resolve issues until the completion of the project.

4. Ensure that all budgets and plans are met.

5. Assist the Production Manager to monitor and manage workshop loadings, direct labour hours, overtime, rework, scrap, on time deliveries, downtime, work efficiencies and ensure all measurements are within plans whenever necessary.

6. Organize weekly production meeting to provide status update to all relevant departments and iron out related production issues.

7. Assist the Production Manager to formulate shop floor production plans and optimize production hours and weekly planned hours ensuring on time delivery.

8. Assist the Production Manager to identify the skill level of production employees and distribute suitable work tasks to achieve higher throughput whenever necessary.

9. Manage and resolve grievances and conflicts arising. Motivate employees to boost their morale.

10. Work with Production Manager, Welding Technical Advisor, Engineering Manager, General Manager and HR department to develop, implement and conduct training to enhance the competency or upgrading of skills for production employees.

11. Assist the Production Manager to conduct annual performance appraisal for all reporting employees whenever necessary.

12. Work closely with the QHSE Manager/ MR to resolve quality issues.

13. Perform review on PCR and work closely with the sales, engineering and quality department or customer to clarify all technical specifications and job requirements.

14. Assist the Production Manager in resolving bottleneck situations and determining root cause, corrections and corrective actions for internal rejection and scrap.

15. Assist the Production Manager in initiating purchase requisition for any requirements whenever necessary.

16. Assist the Production Manager in preparing monthly reports whenever necessary.

17. Work closely with all departments to resolve any arising issues.

Requirements:

· Diploma/ Degree preferably in Manufacturing/ Mechanical/ Engineering discipline or equivalent.

· Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in the metal machining or oil and gas industries.

· Possess good knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

· Strong leadership abilities.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

· Good in written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency in MS Office

Reporting to the Service Supervisor, in this role you will be part of a National team of Field Service Engineers providing a prompt and effective service to customers within the Water, Power, Petrochemical and other associated Industries.  

In this role you will identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in the field, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associated retrofit adaption of components, pedestals and drive shafts and completing accurate and technical site visit reports for each job.

Job summary

1) In charge of planning production and quarterly machine maintenance schedule.

2) Work with production supervisor to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of production floor.

3) Liaise with sales to check and update production schedule and advise ETA of finished products.

4) Based on the production plan, assign production operator to relevant machine and its target quantity.

5) Prepare work order to warehouse assistant and mixer to prepare the raw material according to the plan.

6) Update completed work order quantity into the system when applicable.

7) Generate reports for management review (productivity report, wastage report etc).

8) Ensure sufficient stock for finished product and no out of stock issue.

9) Liaise with raw materials vendor to achieve JIT production.

10) Manage raw material inventory.

11) Liaise with Freshening overseas counterpart for ordering of finished products.

12) Liaise with production supervisor and technician to ensure machine spare parts are available.

13) In charge of ordering machine parts from supplier.

14) Supervise and manage production team (training, leave approval, personal issues).

15) Assist in ISO audits and preparation.

16) Any other area of responsibilities that the company deems necessary.

Competency requirements

1) Minimum Diploma level.

2) Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central proficiency will be an added advantage.

3) Communication skills.

4) Fluent in mandarin to communicate with operators.

5) At least 1 year of relevant experience.

6) Able to understand basic fundamentals of machine operations and production workflow.

7) Able to adapt to changes quickly and give clear instructions to production team.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday : 8 30am - 5 45pm (1 Hour Break)
Saturday: 8 30am - 2 30pm (1 Saturday Shift Every 4 Weeks)

1) To assist the Production Manager to plan job assignment to staffs, and manage the packing, incoming and outgoing processes.

· Electrolyte Formulation: Lead and contribute to the development and optimization of electrolyte formulations tailored for high silicon-based battery projects, emphasizing enhanced performance, safety, and stability.
