About the Role

As an Outlet Manager at georges®, you will lead daily operations at either our Siglap or Bedok outlet, driving the unique ambiance of warmth, friendliness, and excellence that defines the georges® experience. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Strategic Planning & Development

Financial Management

• Work with the Main Committee to set annual financial goals and performance targets.

Team Leadership & Staff Management

• Set directions and expectations for the team to achieve goals. Lead, motivate and mentor a diverse team of staff.
• Manpower planning, budgeting, effective performance management and staff development plans to maintain a high-performing team.
• Ensure all staff are well-presented, trained and adhere to the Club's service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health and safety laws and licensing requirements related to food & beverage and sporting operations.

Food & Beverage Operations Management

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services to meet member expectations.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure cost efficiency in negotiated contracts.

Sporting Facilities Management

• Ensure efficient running of daily operations which includes all sporting facilities (e.g., golf, tennis, swimming, squash, fitness centers, etc.).
• Ensure all equipment and facilities are well-maintained to provide an optimal experience for our Club members.
• Collaborate with sports coaches and trainers to ensure high-quality programs and services.

Member Relations

• Act as the most senior point of contact for Club members regarding all operational issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Address and resolve any member complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, enhancing their overall Club experience.

Requirements

• Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ of experience in a management role within a private club, luxury hotel, resort or hospitality environment. Prior General Manager experience will be an added advantage.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English is essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Degree in Engineering, Science or technologically-related fields with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience. Master’s degree in business is advantageous
• Familiarity with technology trends and innovation drivers in high-side cooling systems and industry best practices will be advantageous
• Creative and innovation thinking with proven track record of energy transition success in securing new contracts in cooling sector
• Solid commercial understanding with basic financial modelling, payback period analysis, etc. crucial
• Passion for new technologies and technical acumen to evaluate their relevance in sustainability and energy efficiency

Responsibilities:

• Treasury operations for Singapore and Southeast Asia countries in executing, coordinating and monitoring of all group treasury activities in line with local regulations and business requirements
• Standardize foreign exchange and fixed deposit operation
• Provide financial expert on business investments, cash liquidation risk, and foreign exchange risk

Requirements:

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring Safety of the vessel and her crew always remains of the highest priority.
• Oversee and manage entire technical requirements and operation of Offshore vessels such as DP2, DP3 Subsea Dive Support (DSV), PSV, AHTS, and other assets.
• Responsible and accountable for the performance of the technical and purchase personnel under your responsibility including but not limited to providing them with direction, performance management and any skill upgradation in line with company’s requirements and policy.
• Monitoring technical costs of managed vessels and ensuring follow-up of cost control with vessel Master and Chief Engineer.
• Project Management, Plan, manage, monitor, and execute vessels repairs, dry dockings, and conversions within agreed budgets.
• PIC for any client’s surveys, inspections including OVID, MWS, and coordinate with relevant departments to close out the findings in the punch list before mobilization.
• Manage the direct interface with the clients, intermediaries, ship owners and other stakeholders involved, ensuring active involvement, timely responses with a broader overview of actions, and its consequences.
• Developing programmes for continuous improvement and to ensure that Technical Management staff and the Vessel Engineers are kept aware of new or changing regulations and industry initiatives.
• Ensure reporting monthly to clients on plan ahead for each vessel as well as review of monthly costs, monthly reports, PMS data etc. and accordingly, prepare reports for the MD for his review.
• Approving orders, invoices, and payments up to limit of authorisation.
• Responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe, cost efficient and environmentally sound operational standard in compliance with the Company’s Safety and Quality Management System as well as the International Marine regulations, IMCA and the vessels’ Classification.
• Work with all teams for tender bids, submissions etc. as well as operating cost forecast.
• PIC for any emergency response, clients interface, and with Incident accident investigations, High Potential Near Misses and Technical incidents.
• Additional works and tasks as advised by the MD.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB (Essential skills, qualifications, and experience):

• Previous experience in an offshore and marine operations related company, ideally within a Ship Management or with Ship Owners, owning and operating high specification DP Subsea and Offshore vessels.
• Prior experience either as Technical Manager (Offshore) for a minimum of 5 years or as an Offshore Vessel Manager for a minimum of 8 years.
• Prefer to have sailed as a Senior Marine Engineer or Chief Engineer on Offshore vessels (Subsea, OSV etc.).
• Recognised marine qualification/experience either at sea or shore-based experience.
• Ability to manage and administer personnel under your responsibility.
• An acute understanding of how the offshore business works, with tight deadlines, clear and apt responses.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively.
