RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• As an Information / BIM Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our client’s digital content is produced, stored, shared, and exploited using the latest technologies and practices.
• Establish and lead a team to undertake the functions of effective information management as identified in ISO 19650 throughout our projects' lifecycles, where the client is either the Lead Appointed Party or an Appointed Party.
• Review Client Information Requirements (EIRs) and perform the role and responsibilities of the Project Information Manager as identified in ISO 19650
• Work with the appointing parties to understand the Project's: Information Requirements; Delivery Milestones; Information Standards; Production methods and procedures; reference information and shared resources; Information Management protocol.
• Work with our Design and Bid Teams to establish the Pre-Appointment BIM Execution Plan including capability assessments and mobilization plans
• Contribute to the project risk register and tender response.
• Develop the BIM execution plan and define the Master Information Delivery Plan in collaboration with the Design and Project Management Teams.
• Define delivery strategy for complex multi-disciplinary projects as part of the BIM Execution Plan:

• Use the information management team to guide, support, and audit task teams in the delivery of their Task Information Delivery Plans, to meet the Appointing Parties Requirements.
• Provide detailed advice and support to our teams to ensure that project delivery is in compliance with the BIM Execution plan and client requirements:
• Ensure BIM models are set up according to Project Information Standards
• Ensure workflows and processes outlined are followed for the creation, review, sharing, and coordination of information
• Update the BIM Execution Plan as required over the project lifecycle
• Support project team in the utilization of CDE

Desired Skills and Experience

• Degree level or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural, or other disciplines relevant to the AEC Industry
• A thorough understanding of the data, information management, BIM agendas within Singapore, and the standards and documents for implementation in design and construction projects.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This role will be a part of a team critical in the Energy Transition journey from brown to green.

This position plays a key role in the project team, serving as an integral member of the commercial team responsible for managing and delivering cross border renewable energy imports into Singapore. Our client is an established A1 main contractor specializing in building construction and civil engineering projects. They’re now looking for a BIM Manager to oversee the implementation and management of BIM processes for their Cross Island Line Project.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and workflow for construction projects
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and construction teams to integrate BIM methodologies.
• Enhance design efficiency and streamline construction processes by applying BIM and VDC concepts
