JOB SCOPE

Summary of Job Responsibilities

Acting as MBS’s representative within the contractual terms applicable, this role is to direct, co-ordinate and supervise assigned projects with the Project Team. The Project Manager will oversee and provide day-to-day direction for a team of Consultants, Contractors, and Assistant Project Managers.

Required skills and qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college.
• 5-8 years of experience as a site engineer, civil engineer, or an equivalent role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing and supervising construction projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, AutoCAD, and other software.
• Ability to manage multiple construction projects at various stages of their lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business and / or project management or related field.

Required Experience:

• Seasoned project management experience preferably in a multinational professional services environment.
• Agile-trained project manager with Open Text CMS implementation experience with at least 5 years of public sector experience.

First stage: Project Coordinator

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineer, Communication Engineering, Automation, or other related disciplines.

2. Proficiency in one script language at least, C/C++/Python/Matlab, etc.

3. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese counterpart.

Responsibilities

Requirements

· Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team of departmental heads.

· Ideally Degree or Diploma in Engineering / Construction or equivalent (Not a must). BCA issued certificate holders are also welcomed.

· Certificate in Construction Safety Course for Project Managers.

· Good knowledge of local authority requirements and engineering standards.

· Align the expectations of key stakeholders of each project, to ensure timely information is shared - from Project Strategy, Design, Timing and Commercial expectations.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, familiarity with AutoCAD.
