Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Overall Project Management:

- Responsible and track the quality, scope, timeline, effort (co-related to estimation, CR’s, complexity), resources (includes GTO, business, contractor, Professional Services resources as well as operations),

- Develop and execute the overall project plan and analyse project proposals which impacts the schedule and budget variance which in turn contribute to meeting the overall objectives of the project.

- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.

· Stakeholder Management: Work hand in hand with Business Project Managers to manage project stakeholders and relationships - e.g. escalation, expectation, conflict, scope changes, etc. Ensure teams work in a collaborative environment

· Scope Management: Manage all changes to the agreed scope of work Review and assess all changes and impact to timeline and ensure all changes are approved by PSC

· Project Governance: Prepare investment approval deck and manage approval of project by ITC/TPWC. Organize and facilitate PSC meetings, chair PWC meetings.

· Change management: Led enhancements estimates, timelines, scope and agile delivery to quarterly releases as project manager

· Risk and Issue Management: Manage overall project risk, track risk aging, work through escalations, change governance and related issues. Implement the risk mitigation plans.

· Process Adherence: Partner with relevant stakeholders in ensuring that the system development methodology is followed and the relevant artefacts are delivered on time with quality, in adherence to the development methodology/approach

· Project Reporting: Measure, monitor and report progress to stakeholders at various levels of organization across the enterprise with the right quality, consistency in content. Implement project communication plan and review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required

· Client focussed: Drives decision making and delivery outcomes through client lense

Key Requirements:

Technical Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, finance, or equivalent.

· At least 15 years experience in project management in banking, financial, consulting industries with proven track record.

· Good problem solver and stay on top of the project risks and issues till closure.

· Good team player and is able to exercise formal and informal ways to lead the vertical teams in achieving the common project targets.

· Excellent presentation skills and able to front with the senior stakeholders at C level.

· Passionate, diligent, and resilient individual with ability if thrive in ambiguity.

· Previous exposure to Channels & APIs including internet banking, mobile, API and H2H knowledge will be advantages.

· Good to have PMP, Prince2, Agile certification.

Education

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar domain

· Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory

Technical Skills:

· Client onboarding experience, either in product owner, manager, or T&O equivalent roles

· External API functional and technical experience, regional API rollouts.

· Performance metrics and challenges in past projects either at banks, Fintech or eCommerce org

Project Planning and Coordination

• Project Development: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets. Technical Expertise:

• Possess a strong understanding of ecommerce, mobile, and martech systems, particularly Salesforce and Adobe.

• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate project status, progress, and challenges to clients.
• Manage client expectations and address their concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Offshore Team Management:

• Manage and coordinate offshore project teams based in India.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment for offshore team members.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting their professional development.

Key Candidate Requirements

The Technical Project Manager must have demonstrable experience in the following competencies

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in the ecommerce, mobile, or martech industry.
• Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience managing offshore projects in India.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Hindi is a significant advantage.
• Experience working with distributed teams is preferred.
• Scope Management: The ability to control the work included in a project, ensuring that all work that has been scoped and can be delivered against an agreed schedule
• Time Management: The ability to ensure timely completion of projects, including activity (task) definition and sequencing processes
• Cost Management: the ability to plan, estimate and control costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget. This includes resource planning, cost budgeting and project reconciliation.
• Quality Management: The ability to ensure that project delivery meets the quality needs for which the project as defined
• Resource Management: The ability to task manage globally distributed project teams; this includes aligning on project objectives and goals, defining roles in the project and assigning project team members to those roles
• Change Management – Ensuring all change management consideration are captured, planned, managed and successfully delivered
• Risk Management: The ability to identify, analyse, and appropriately respond to project risk
• Formal PM qualification and 5+ Years Project Management experience -Prince2/PMI/APM/others
• Ideally 2+ Years Change Management experience
• Experience of working in a decoupled environment and collaborating effectively with other geographical operation and third-party supplier
• Ideally experience with media/advertising production operation, and interest in related & emerging technologies

Desirable Skills

• Formal Change Management qualification – Prosci/Change Management Institute (CMI)/APMG/other
• Recent experience within a Systems Integrator, Software Development, or Technology company.

Responsibilities

· Prospect, build, develop and manage relationships with potential new clients

· Possess good prospects qualification

Requirements

· Experience in the homeland borders control, maritime and/or aviation hubs would be ideal
