The Supply Chain (SC) Manager develops, conducts, and improves the in-market supply chain include but are not limited to Customer Service and Logistics processes for the supply of products inbound to the LOC and outbound to its first trade customers in order to achieve optimal Customer Service levels and to maximize the On-Time-In-Full KPI, thereby supporting the commercial ambition. Job Summary

The individual will be responsible for leading and overseeing subcontracting and procurement operations for large-scale construction and engineering projects in Singapore. • Own the procurement administration and processes. Ensure that all documentation are organized, up to date and accessible to all stakeholders.
• Manage and centralize the procurement supplier and contract database. Create and provide reporting on main KPIs.
• Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of group processes. Ensure the department is in line with corporate guidelines.
• Manage audit processes and ensure corrective action are met.
• Support category managers with supplier KYCs, dependency and financial rating.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain or relevant
• Min 7 to 8 years experience overseeing a team of 10 to run a Sea / Ocean Freight Export Operation for key account clients
• Extensive background in Freight Forwarding industry (Agent environment)
• Strong experience in Shipping, Booking and full Documentation functions
• Strong leadership skill
• Possess good communication & interpersonal skills

Logistic manager is a professional responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials within an organization. Their primary objective is to ensure that products are delivered to the right location, at the right time, and in the most cost-effective and efficient manner possible.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Determine the most efficient routes for transporting goods to minimize time and costs while ensuring timely delivery.

2. Source, negotiate contracts with, and manage relationships with suppliers and service providers such as carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) companies.

3. Control and reduce transportation, inventory, and warehousing costs through effective negotiation, strategic planning, and optimization of resources.

4. Design and optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize space utilization, improve efficiency, and facilitate smooth material flow.

5. Implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce stockouts and overstock situations, and improve inventory turnover. 6. Ensure the quality of goods throughout the supply chain by implementing quality control measures and monitoring supplier performance.
