Responsibilities:

• Perform materials planning and purchasing to fulfill sales needs.
• Request/ source quotation from vendor for each inquiry and negotiate with pricing.
• Monitor/ review inventory stocking policy to ensure good balance between assurance of supply with minimal inventory holding. Follow by MRP & minimum inventory level.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers for parts needed based on company's agreed inventory stocking policy.
• Issue Certificate of Origin (COO) and Certificate of quantity & quality (COQ) for Genset Assembly.
• Ensures accuracy of all orders and follow-up (telephone/ email communication) with suppliers.
• Liaise, arrange and monitor shipments with forwarder.
• Monitor delivery with local and oversea suppliers.
• Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
• Prepare documents such as Import product checklist, import shipment checklist and etc for warehouse checking purpose.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Business Studies
• 3-4 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• SAP experienced

• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Technical Superintendents and or Technical Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma holders with 2-3 years of purchasing experience preferably in Shipping industry
