This is a combined global / regional role that cuts across two clients, one being a global client with 15 markets and other being a regional client, covering 6 Asia Pacific markets. Operations Compliance Lead

Job Requirement:

1. 10-12 year working experience in system operations compliance and management areas.
2. Has experience being audited or familiar with any standards (e.g. ISO, ITSM)
3. Cloud certified
4. Good in-depth understanding of data warehouse concepts, data profiling, data verification and advanced analytics techniques
5. Experience in managing a team in project implementation or support
6. Certification in IT operation management is preferred
7. Possess prior hands-on experience with technologies such as Informatica, .NET & MS-SQL database, Oracle, BI tool (OBIEE or Tableau) & any messaging technologies
8. Exposure to hospital information / clinical systems is an added advantage.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Understand the operational process from systems administrations to application management and support. Will plan and provide guidance on ensuring that all project, migrations, and support processes are align and compliance with organizations operation and security policy.
• Focuses on setting goals and priorities and on mentoring and coordination as well as providing technical leadership while aligning with organizations policy.
• Will represent the operation team in the management for any audit, compliance or governance forum.

Govern IT processes and policies

• Establish goals and priorities, design, planning, day-to-day operation, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting of systems.
• Align system administration with overall strategic IT service direction and business needs.
• Assist with the development of business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for spending and initiatives.
• Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and/or regulatory issue.
• Develop policies, procedures, and controls to ensure system security and compliance.
• Lead the team during audit and/or compliance investigation to ensure all processes are able to meet company policies and governance.
• Be aware of any new policy, governance or guidance required from the organization or government.

Optimise Systems Performance and Continuous Improvement

• Recommend process, product or service improvements, resource optimisation and cost savings initiatives.
• Recommend new technologies, methodologies, systems or opportunities for cost savings, security and service quality improvement
• Optimise / Automate processes to achieve higher efficiency and more sustainable operations
• Evaluate current processes and update for any changes or new direction from the organization

Manage Teams

• Oversee team management including budgets, forecasting, work allocations and staffing
• Develop staff through ongoing coaching, mentoring and career discussions
• Define common goals, direction and accountability among staff
• Drive effective performance management practices within department in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Our client, an established EPC contractor in the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical Industry, is seeking for a Lead Instrument Engineer to join their team.

Responsible for the analysis and preparation of specifications and construction drawings, design documents for process and industrial plants in accordance with project specification schedule and customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for field instrument and control system design work.
• Able to lead small/medium size projects within budgeted MH, cost and project schedule.
• Prepare and review field instruments, Analyzer, Control Systems (DCS, ESD, F&G etc) specification, requisition, TBE, vendor document review.
• Prepare and review construction drawings such as Index, IO List, Location layout, hook-up, cable routing, loop diagram etc. based on project specifications.
• Evaluate and select suitable instruments for required process control/monitoring application.
• Lead the estimation work of BMBQ, Man-hour, technical proposal writeup, for new tender project.
• Preparation of project monthly report and attending project & client meeting as required.
• Work collaboration with other GEC and monitor daily job task assignment.
• Perform FAT/inspection for control system and field instruments as required.
• Perform SAT, Loop check, site construction and commissioning support as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Instrument and Control Engineering.
• 15 years’ experience in instrument and control system design work.
• Knowledge and experience in Field Instrument Engineering as well as Control System, e.g. DCS, ESD, F&G.
• Able to work at construction sites to support construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Good interpersonal and communication.
