· Lead and oversee the end-to-end vaccine R&D process, from concept to clinical trials
· Develop project timelines, milestones, and budgets, ensuring that projects stay on track and within scope.
· Drive the scientific strategy for vaccine discovery, formulation, and development
· Keep up-to-date with industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes that may impact vaccine development.
· Oversee preclinical studies, including animal model testing, safety, immunogenicity, and efficacy evaluations.
· Ensure proper documentation of research and development activities for intellectual property and regulatory filings.
· Communicate project updates to senior management, stakeholders, and external partners.
· Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, biotech companies, and healthcare organizations.
Identify and mitigate scientific, technical, and operational risks throughout the vaccine development process.
· Ph.D. in Immunology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Life Science, or related field
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vaccine R&D
· Experience of virus culture preferred
· Independent, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
· Overseas travel might be required
