Responsibilities

• Ensure timely orders of day to day requisitions;
• Obtain Superintendent’s approval for quotation and offers received to place order;
• Ensure delivery on board through logistic chain from the supplier to the vessel;
• Report any specific vessel requirements;
• Adhere to KPIs as defined by Procurement Director
• Comply with IMS (Integrated Management System) and all relevant international rules and regulations;
• Ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
• Apply best practices defined by group procurement.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline;
• 2+ years procurement/supply chain experience preferred;
• Experience in shipping and/or marine/offshore purchasing
• Knowledge in technical shipping management is a plus;

• Supplier performance monitoring: Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supplier performance in responsible sourcing. Regularly monitor and evaluate supplier performance, providing feedback and guidance to drive continuous improvement
• Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, legal, sustainability, and operations teams, to ensure responsible sourcing practices are integrated into procurement processes
