Located in our Singapore office, you will be supporting the Design Center on new product development for individual parts and Assembly, Working on receiving and clarifying specifications from R&D designers, communicating to suppliers the requirement. Compile the received information and develop a sourcing plan for each part and execute the plan to receive the parts on time.
•Works closely with R&D to support sourcing activities of metal parts ( Machining or Sheet Metal) to support equipment contract manufacturers
•DFX Activities (DFManufacturing, DFCost…). Request DFX analysis to vendors when necessary and provide DFX analysis to R&D as required.
•Involved in regional sourcing to develop critical supplier base.
•Responsible for supplier management, such as supplier sourcing, selection, evaluation.
•Manage part development related to new product introduction, proto-type, performance review, issue resolution, etc.
•Responsible for cost reduction and price negotiation
•Develop and manage disposition plan for non-conforming or suspect non-conforming material.

Desired Skills & Experience
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•+2 Years of relevant experience, New collage grad will be considered for entry level position.
•Familiar with sourcing of mechanical and fabrication parts.
•Strong working knowledge in reading and understanding of technical drawing is essential.
•Exposure in high-mix low-volume (HMLV) environment.
•Possess good negotiation, communication and project management skills.
•Good command of English and East Asian language (oral and written) to liaise with associates.
