• Salary: Basic up to $3300 + AWS + VB
• Working Hour: Monday - Friday (8am - 5:30pm); Saturday (8am - 12pm) - Once per month

Job Scope:

• Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, logistics, and inventory management
• Communicate with management, and contractors on cost estimation
• Negotiate project terms to ensure comprehensive issue resolution
• Develop cost-reduction strategies to enhance overall project value
• Ensure all purchased items meet specifications and comply with standards
• Manage complete logistic processes including shipping documentation (primarily import; export when needed)
• Maintain close liaison with suppliers for delivery promptness and commitment
• Manage purchase requisitions, orders, delivery orders, and invoices
• Manage company vendors such as IT, maintenance/repair/operating contracts, etc
• Oversee various contracts including purchasing, certificates, renewal inspections, etc
• Address suppliers, vendors, and internal inquiries

Roles & Responsibilities

• Sourcing and purchasing of materials or equipment as per RFQ project requirements
• Ensure execution of purchases are in accordance to company polices and quality procedures.
• Conduct sourcing of materials and equipment locally and internationally for operation, production and project requirements in accordance to established policies and procedures.
• Analyse and evaluate quotations from vendors and conduct negotiation, where necessary, to achieve the best overall deal in terms of technical conformance, delivery compliance and commercial considerations
• Ensure proper logistics arrangements for the delivery of goods to meet project schedule and take recovery actions where necessary. To negotiate for the most cost-effective transport by bringing the order.
• Track and expedite orders and provide timely status report for project progress updates.
• Conduct supplier appraisals and audits.
• Ensure that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve supply, quality, and service issues with supplier
• Perform vendor evaluation and generating procurement analyse report as when required.

Job Requirements:

· At least 2~3 years procurement experience in engineering industry

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle day to day purchasing operation
• Coordinates with operations team and other internal department on stock availability and delivery schedules
• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts etc.)
• Generate purchase orders

Responsibilities

a) Sourcing and Purchasing:

1) Work with all departments on purchasing requirements including mainly on contractor works relating to maintenance/upgrading of plant facilities.

2) Evaluate job scope raised by Engineering department and analyze technical data and specifications needed for project/work. Review suitability, source comparable quotes in all fields on available information and ask the right question to stakeholders about the work.

3) Provide advice to company personnel/suppliers of nature and function of parts equipment when required.

4) Invite existing/new potential contractors for facility maintenance/upgrading works or new projects.

5) Liaise with contractor representatives regarding specifications, costs, inspection, and similar problems relating to parts equipment when required.

6) Effective sourcing and negotiate with vendors for best value, lead-time and terms at all times.

7) Review quotes receive are meeting requirements and send for verifications if required.

8) Monitor purchasing trend to avoid over purchase.

9) Raise Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO); follow up on the approval process and PO closure.

10) Monitor and close outstanding purchasing issues.

11) Identify, access and develop potential alternative vendors for various services.

12) Monitors vendors’ performance in terms of quality, delivery, price and services and taking corrective actions.

b) Procurement Records:

1) Create new vendor in system.

2) Create new item codes in system.

3) Maintain contract list and ensure timely renewal of term contract services.

4) Inform new vendors/contractors of company requirement.

5) Follow up on forms to be updated for new vendors/contractors.

6) Updating of Procurement status in Emaint software.

7) Update vendors/contractors of any change in company policies when required.

8) Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses when required.

9) Maintain and update other Procurement documentation in system.

c) Administrative and Coordination works:

1) Match Purchase Order, Delivery Order and Invoices; Check on accuracy and completeness and submit to Finance Department on a timely basis.

2) Verify invoice without PO is as per contract value and identify department costing before submit to Finance.

3) Follow up on invoicing on cash on delivery purchases.

4) Liaising with Centralised Store for self-collection arrangement.

Requirements

· Degree/Diploma Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience

· Procurement knowledge will be advantage

· ERP software. E.g. Microsoft Dynamics Navision will be advantage
