Buyer (Contract)
Responsibilities
• Participate in cross-functional project teams
• RFQ, analyze, and select optimal parts and suppliers based on TCO and risk factors
• Set up new parts in SAP for purchasing
• Track and manage supplier performance using SAP and other tools
• Escalate major risks to sourcing management and stakeholders
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop action plans
• Prepare reports for project teams and management
• Identify cost savings and mitigation opportunities
• Understand relevant processes (e.g. CPD)
• Maintain ERP data accuracy in SAP
• Communicate material planning forecasts to suppliers
• Process purchase requisitions and resolve invoice issues
• Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related discipline with 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchasing.
• Must have experience with ERP systems - SAP.
• Demonstrated understanding of MRP, inventory, and production principles.
• High proficiency in Excel, including formulae, pivot tables, and v-lookups.
