Main Purpose of Role
Reporting to the e-Commerce Fulfilment Operations Supervisor and Team Lead, the Warehouse Assistant will support the end-to-end e-Commerce fulfilment operations. This role will work closely with various team members of e-Commerce Fulfilment Team.
Responsibilities
1) Product Receiving and Inspection
• Ensure accurate receipt of all products
• Perform thorough inspections to verify the condition of products, ensuring they meet quality standards for sale
2) Storage and Organization
• Safely store products in designated locations, maintaining proper conditions for their preservation
• Regularly perform stock checks to identify and rectify any discrepancies
3) Outbound Processing
• Pick and pack products based on outbound shipments in an accurate and timely manner, including simple gift wrapping if required
• Consolidate outbound shipments accurately and in a timely manner for collection by courier partners.
4) Collaboration and Communication
• Liaise with team members from e-Commerce Fulfilment Team and Commercial Team to resolve any issues pertaining to products promptly
• Support investigation of customer complaints related to product issues
5) General warehouse Support
• Support general warehouse operations, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist in inventory management and replenishment activities.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed and ensure they are well-maintained.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
• Experience in warehousing function (in-house or 3rd party logistics) is preferred.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Basic proficiency in English comprehension.
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices for order processing and inventory management.
• Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry items as required.
• Availability to work rotating shifts for 5 days per week, including overtime on off days and rest days.
