Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/ Electronics
• Position Title: Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator
• Working Location: Commonwealth Ln (near the MRT)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM - 6 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating shipping, receiving deliveries, conducting stock checks, documenting records, and storing of inventory.
• Ensure outgoing and incoming shipments are done on time, within budget, and to the exact location.
• Preparing shipping documents (e.g., airway bills, bills of lading, purchase orders, delivery orders, certificates of beneficiary, etc.).
• Preparing export LC documents for negotiation and ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions stipulated in the LC.
• Familiar with shipping incoterms.
• Liaise with shipping companies, transport contractors, and inter-department to ensure timely clearance and smooth flow of shipments.
• Tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries.
• Responsible for procurement process and sourcing in a timely manner.
• Effectively acquire the most relevant and cost-effective deals.
• Managing and dispatching spare parts requests.
• Sourcing and managing suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders, and maintaining good business relationships.

• Good communication skills and strong negotiation skills.

Job Description

• Position Title: Purchasing Assistant (Part-Time)
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: 3 days (8 am – 5:30 pm/6 pm)
• Salary Package: $1,400
• Duration: Part-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Purchasing Manager with daily procurement activities and sourcing equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Process purchasing orders, and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery; communicate any delays or issues to the appropriate parties.
• Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies.
• Work closely with the receiving department to ensure proper goods are received and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with the maintenance of accurate procurement records, including details of orders, invoices, and documentation for inventory audits.

Responsibilities

· Receive and account for deliveries from suppliers

· Stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type

· Prepare orders for shipment

· Record and inform management of damaged merchandise

· Load goods on to our delivery vehicle

· Read invoices - ensure relevant products are correctly delivered to each customer

· Maintain good communication and relations with colleagues

· Report all mispicks/shorts to management

· Work safely at all times - notify management of any safety-related issues

· Ensure load is secured to prevent breakage
