Our client is an US MNC, one of the largest players in the life-science sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting for a Procurement Assistant to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects.

This is a 1 year contract (Convertible) role. They are located at Buona Vista – Walking distance from the MRT station.

5 days work week - Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 5.30pm)

Training will be provided for Entry Level (structured training programs)

Duties

• Check, sort and process invoices and verify them against SAP system.
• Liaise with vendors and users for invoices, credit note, installation dates etc.
• Any other Ad-hoc duties

Requirements

• Possess minimally a Nitec/Diploma in Supply Chain
• Knowledge in SAP
• No experience needed - Training Provided (structured training programs)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead the whole warehouse operations and in charge of day-to-day inventory and distribution management.
• Coordinate with internal divisions to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of client orders.
• Conduct prompt investigations for any shipping and inventory discrepancies by collaborating with internal stakeholders to determine and implement effective preventive measures.
• In-charge of assessing, maintaining, and updating appropriate procedures and paperwork’s.
• Manage and maintain procurement-related operations within the department.
• Execute system testing, simulations, and/or validations on a regular basis.
• Any ad hoc duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics or equivalent.
• At least 3 – 5 years of warehouse or distribution management experience in supervisory role.
• Prior experience working in Distribution Centre Management will be an added advantage.
