• Advising Dril-Quip management on procedures to ensure that the Dril-Quip offices, workshops, other premises and all facilities operated by Dril-Quip comply with the policies and legal requirements.
• Advising line management and supervisors of HSE issues.
• Providing assistance regarding Systems of Administration to HSE Department.
• Liaising with the relevant authorities on all matters pertaining to health, safety and the environment.
• Investigate incidents and analyse trends as required as well as providing recommendations and corrective actions where required.
• Liaising with supervisors, line managers and external agencies re: OH&S training and course content (training profiles) and delivering HSE training as determined.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of in-house health, safety and environmental training.
• Maintaining databases and collating consultation documentation for documents contained within the OHSMS / EMS.
• onducting internal audits / site inspections re OH policy / procedure, risk assessments and work procedures. Attending client / company / external audits as required Collating documented evidence for close out of actions on investigation reports, CPAR’s and internal and external ISO audits.
• Must be WSHO registered.

Job Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement and Business Development

· Outreach to companies to promote the adoption of e2i’s programmes and work together to implement job redesign projects to raise productivity, improve jobs, skills and wages for our local workforce.

· Collaborate with industry stakeholders, including government agencies, associations, training partners to co-create interventions to address manpower issues.

Strategic Manpower Planning

· Analyse market trends, identify and assess key industry manpower and skills needs.

· Track the programme’s progress and evaluation outcomes and make recommendations for management decision making.

· Identify and implement relevant hiring and training for businesses.

Project and Events Management

· Plan and review budget requirements and ensure compliance with policies and processes.

· Plan and organise outreach and marketing events, career events and industry engagements.

· Assist retrenched employees, including job search guidance and access to relevant training programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Source for Mechanical and electronics components to support new projects
• Perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the product requirements
• Responsible in managing the relationship with suppliers on all commercial issues
• Perform cost reduction, VA/VE activities, etc to achieve the KPIs set by the management (eg. the material cost reduction target)
• Able to implement supply management strategies and activities such as VMI, JIT, EDI capabilities, etc.
• To be the escalation point when there is delivery issues during the MP and NPI stages
• Management of SAP data integrity

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• At least 2 years working experience in the EMS industry
• At least 1 year of experience in sourcing, purchasing or procuring of mechanical parts components
• Strong knowledge in electro-mechanical commodities (LCDs / cables) or electronics components (active or passive components)
• Proficient in SAP/Microsoft Office
