This is a 2-year subspecialty specialist training programme. The successful trainee will spend the 1styear training in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore General Hospital and the National Cancer Centre of Singapore. This will be followed by a 2nd year training at Hammersmith Hospital, United Kingdom. The successful trainee will be trained in Gynaecological Oncology and exposed to relevant specialties e.g. Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Palliative Medicine. You will be working in the Information Capturing Crew, which is part of the foundation stream of Client Document and Records Management. You will work within a team of quality and test engineers who work across various PODs of Information Capturing to support the delivery and improvement of the forms, capturing and related automation products. Along with your team members, you will enable the transition from our classic products to the new strategic and integrated suite of products for the Digital Mailroom Pod.

The crew mission is to become the global differentiator for capturing and processing of (client) information by offering innovative information services for integration & automation.

The members of this Agile chapter are working out of Switzerland, India, Singapore and the Philippines.

Your expertise

• extensive knowledge in programming language - Java
• ISTQB Foundation Certification or above
• sound knowledge of Defect Analysis, Prioritization, Regression Testing
• proven Test Automation and Test Manager know-how and ability to work with both BA's and Developers
• requirement Traceability Matrix (mapping stories to test cases)
• experience with SOAP UI & Postman/Swagger
• familiar with using Gherkin and MS Azure

KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital is the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists first formally recognised overseas training centre in this region for their overseas Subspecialty Training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine (RCOG MFM SST).

Job Description

This is a 2-year subspecialty specialist training programme. The successful trainee will spend the 1st year training in the hospitals of the SingHealth cluster at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. This will be followed by a 2nd year training at hospitals under Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (St Mary’s Hospital and Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital) as well as King’s College Hospital. The trainee will be exposed to and trained in all the subspecialties of high-risk Obstetrics, medical complications of pregnancy and fetal medicine and fetal therapy. The trainee will benefit from being exposed to the large critical mass and multi-disciplinary specialists both in Singapore and London, United Kingdom.

This training post will commence on the 1 October 2024 in Singapore and the 2nd year will be in London, United Kingdom. At the end of these 2 years of training, the successful trainee will be a fully accredited RCOG Subspecialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine.

By the time of the closing date of the application, the eligibility criteria for application will include:

• At least 2 years of active clinical practice as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Registered with Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB)
• Equipped with MRCOG postgraduate qualification
• At least two 1st author publications in the specialty of obstetrics in PubMed indexed journals
• Eligible to apply for Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) funding from 1 April 2025
