Key Duties / Responsibilities
o Implementation, administration, updates Quality Assurance manual and procedures, policies, programs and systems.
o Audit and inspect overall factory condition according to SFA, HACCP requirement
o Lead in sustaining SFA- ISO 22000/HACCP yearly surveillance audit
o Report factory daily products safety and hygiene performance, analyse and provide assurance to top Management
o Record all QC documents in factory and whole company
o Analyse quality of raw and finished products
o Establish necessary procedures or work instruction to accommodate inspection needs
o Ensure production process is under control as specficiation
o Conduct suppliers’ quality audits for compliance, prepare quality and feedback reports.
o Assists on the supplier/customers' questionnaires/feedback/complaints
o Assists in resolving customer quality and safety concerns
o To liaise with authorities (eg: SFA) on related Food Safety / License issues when required.
o Conduct hygiene training, daily inspection of process workers, process rooms and related areas
o In charge of health certificate application and laboratory reports arrangement and maintenance of such records.
o Audit critical categories for quality integrity and food safety.
o Any other QA/QC duties as assigned by the company
Requirements
· Diploma/Degree in Food Science/Food Technology/Microbiology or related disciplines.
· Minimum 2-4 years of relevant working in Quality and Regulatory related field in Food, preferably from FMCG
· Knowledge of Food/Product regulatory requirement and registration/licensing requirement
· Familiar with manufacturing/sampling processes and retailer QA/QC practices
· Experience in HACCP/ISO 22000 and Food safety is preferable.
· Familiarity/experience in internal auditing is preferred
· Be meticulous in work
· Independent, initiative and self-motivate is required
