As a Data Architect, you are a data technology evangelist in the company who advocates technology and our data platform. You will participate in activities like presenting to Executives and Leaders on the current technology, future technology and our roadmap.

You shall oversee the governance, design, ongoing development and operations of a end-to-end Data & Analytics architecture that synergies all our data (structured and unstructured) to information that brings sense to our data consumers for their fact-based decision making and analysis.

You are instrumental in working closely with stakeholders like Business users, IT Project Managers, Infrastructure team, to maximize the value of our data platform.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ongoing development and operations of an end-to-end Data architecture that enables fact-based decision making, ad-hoc analysis and insight generation.
• Regular review of emerging technologies to assess their relevance and viability in solving on-going information management challenges eg. Big Data, cloud computing, enterprise business metadata management and Data SOA.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of corporate data architecture, data management standards and conventions, data dictionaries and data element naming standards and conventions for multiple computing environments.
• Establish standard information architecture best practices in the context of the enterprise’s overall architecture, and consistently apply such standards to operating units and functions across the company.
• Collaborating with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.
• Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost effective data related solutions for improved data integrity.
• Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value.
• Review and approve project designs including data models and ETL.
• Prepares written reports of findings and recommendations.
• Mentoring the Data Technology team and other IT teams on technical skills.

Experiences

• 8 to 10 years in architecting and implementing Big Data platform.
• Extensive proven experience in Solution envisioning, building demonstration, estimates, proposal development, user presentations/workshop conduct.
• Hands-on experience on Big Data, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mart eg. Hadoop Hortonworks, Hive, Pig, Spark, Scalar, Netezza etc.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and agile methodology.
• Familiarity with process modeling, semantic modeling and data modeling.
• Expertise in SQL and databases.
• Knowledge in insurance domain is an added advantage.

Position Responsibilities:

· Responsible for all the audits from scheduling, review and closure of findings (Internal Audit, Supplier Audit, Customer Audit, Regulatory Audit).

· Lead the QA team for system qualification, implementation and assessment for inbound material to finished goods for continuous improvement.

· Review manufacturing practices including the prerequisite program, process control with production for continuous improvement.

· Microbiologist which oversea the microbiological lab operation and work with microbiological lab supervisor for troubleshooting for any issue related to microbiology testing.

· Work with regulatory department such SFA, NEA to ensure system in place is adequate and sufficient.

· Approve the training material for regular GMP/Food Safety training.

To be successful in the role, the incumbent should have the following qualities:

· Bachelor degree in Food Science & Technology or related field

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality inspection, auditing and testing experience or industry-specific experience with 1 year of management experience required.

· Good working knowledge of MS Office

· Knowledge in ISO, HACCP and FSSC 22000, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

· Effective and good communication skills in both written and spoken

· Ability to prepare required quality and other reports for business review

· Good knowledge in food safety & quality system such as ISO, HACCP and FSSC

· Organized with the ability to prioritize, multitask and navigate in ambiguous environment

The Senior Executive, Governance and Quality Assurance, supports educational quality assurance processes and practices for the NTU Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery undergraduate programme at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. This position reports to Director, Education Management.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Reform

• Participate as Secretariat team member of the Curriculum Reform Committee (CRC) and its sub-groups and ensuring effective collaboration and implementation of curriculum reforms.

• Organise CRC and its sub-groups meetings and providing administrative and logistical support

• Assist in the preparation, compilation and dissemination of CRC and its sub-groups meeting package including meeting papers and slide deck

• Assist Chair, CRC in the conduct of meetings

• Draft minutes of CRC meetings and action plans for its sub-groups’ meetings

• Assist in monitoring follow-up actions

Curriculum Documentation

• Administer electronic filing infrastructure for NTU MBBS degree documentation

• Maintain version control of curriculum documentation

• Engage with internal stakeholders to plan and develop budget estimates for new degree programme, including operating expenses and expenditure on manpower

• Assist faculty and educators in compiling and documenting learning outcomes

Programme Policies and Processes

Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement

• Provide administrative support for national-level medical education quality assurance and quality improvement efforts

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Platform Admin Lead to manage the data platform admin team for the smooth business operations and supporting the hybrid data platform with primary focus on big data platform, data visualisation tool, ETL tool and data science tool.

Job Description

· Lead the team to manage data platforms to meet the organization's needs. Take overall accountability of the administration and operation of data platforms.

· Configure and administer data platforms including security, performance, and scalability.

· Create and manage user accounts and permissions, as well as manage access to data sources in data platforms.

· Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance and resolve any issues that arise.

· Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and maintenance for data platforms.

· Develop and implement backup strategies for data platforms.

· Overall 15+ years of experience in platform implementation and administration with mandatory 8 + years of hands-on experience in managing big data platforms

· Deep understanding of OS concepts, process management and resource scheduling.

· Deep understanding of networking, CPU, memory and storage.

· Good hold of shell scripting.
