As a Marine Assurance Officer, you are an independent operational adviser, auditor and coach for the Company and vessels on matters related to marine assurance. • Assist with the briefing of shipboard senior officers prior to joining the vessel
• Ensure the most up to date legal register, flag circulars and publications including updates on regional and vessel trading/operation areas
• Act as Deputy DPA and Deputy CSO and to support in the completion / submission / implementation and update of SSA / SSP
• Contribute and participate in all QHSSE matter as most appropriate that is in line with the Company’s HSE policy and requirements

Essential

• Academic / higher professional education and / or working level and previous experience as a 2nd officer or higher rank preferably in the offshore industry with Dynamic Positioning experience.
• Onshore experience in a similar role.
• Sound knowledge of International Maritime legislation (ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO etc.), as well as versed in HSSE regulations.
• You focus on continuous improvement and are HSSE performance driven.
