The Site Engineer will be part of a Project Team and reports to the Construction Manager. The Site Engineer will be involved in site work i.e. preparation of work sequences, method statement, scheduling of resources and preparation works for the project.

Roles & Responsibilities

Primary accountabilities

• Supporting engineering and supervision teams to deliver works in accordance with project specifications, budgets and schedules.
• Ensuring comprehensive records are established and maintained to assist decision making.
• Generate client and internal reports for progress and to coordinate/schedule the execution of system verification walk downs.
• Maintaining productive relationships with the Project Team, client representatives, sub-contractors, foreman, consultants and the community.

Skills & Experience

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Experience and knowledge on post-tensioned / Bearings/Road Joints would be appreciated.
• Good communication skill to liaise with client/Main contractor/Sub contractor.
• Be familiar with usual design standards (Eurocode, BS, etc.) and Singapore Codes of Practice.
• Have good editorial skills (will write method statements and other technical documents).
• Be conversant with AutoCAD
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Should be a good team player.
• The candidate should have at least two years' experience on construction projects.

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to help with the acceleration of cloud adoption. The applicant will have a strong background in IT Infrastructure with a strong understanding and at least 4 years’ experience with Public, Private and hybrid cloud.

• Ensure compliance with asset management regulations in relevant countries.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with asset management regulations in countries where UOB Asset. Management operates.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in site supervision and management.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, forecasting, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
• Controlling the cost of the materials and labour.
• Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.
• Attend site meeting, inspection, and monitoring of project progress with Main Con and Sub-cons.
• Liaising and coordinating with all parties involved in the projects such as consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, local authorities, environmental agencies, and federal entities to ensure successfully implementation of the project.
• To manage daily operation of the project execution.
• Solving construction problems as soundly as possible.
• Acting as the quality control and assurance to ensure that the project objectives are met.
• To ensure that project paper works are properly kept and up to date.
• Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk.
• Familiar with the relevant legal requirement.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement:

• BCA Recognize Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of A&A, civil engineering or earthworks working experience.
• Teamplayer with positive working attitude
• Able to start work within short notice period
