Summary:

Night Duty Manager is the representative of the management ensuring the wellbeing of all guests during their time at the hotel, maintain a high level of host presence throughout and ensure the overall smooth running of the hotel at all times when on duty.

Responsibilities:

Operations

• To assist with all departments in times of pressure – where reasonably possible
• To assume responsibility for the running of the Hotel in the absence of senior management
• To coordinate guests and staff during an emergency and have good knowledge of fire procedures
• To liaise well with all departments, ensuring that communication of the day’s activity is clear and understood
• To make sure that Company policy and the Vision are followed at all times

Guest Service

• To deal with complaints quickly and efficiently and find suitable solutions to any problems that may arise, communicating issues to the AFOM and colleagues in a constructive and clear manner
• To ensure guests wishes are met if not exceeded so far as is reasonably possible
• To obtain feedback from guests and to use this to improve service and top pass on such to the AFOM and other relevant HOD’s

Financial

• Increasing revenue whenever possible (double selling of rooms, room inventory control)

Administration

• Write GIF whenever necessary in regards to guest incident
• To prepare breakfast forecast
• To look through guest deposit and balance to prepare High Balance Report

Job Description :

1. Product Knowledge

• Responsible to receive/gather in time all information regarding product specifications or modifications of existing products, upgrading or extending existing/new products. This information/s is necessary to strengthen product knowledge so that these can be translated and explained clearly to distributors / customers.
• Keeps up technical knowledge by making suggestions to the management on which continuing education programs may be useful for him/her.

2. Implementation of favorable conditions to support sales/marketing target achievement

• Conducts application and theoretical training for the representatives of the different distributors in the region.
• Provides end-user training, as and when necessary
• Develops to strengthen the product knowledge of distributors (Eg. Training manual, etc)
• Handles product-related complaints and other application issues and provides excellent assistance for troubleshooting purpose/s.
• Maintains regular communication and continuous contact with all the subsidiaries & distributors.

3. Reporting

• Prepares and submits a monthly activity report to the Supervisor. This report includes activities done in the past month, issue resolved and to resolve, and plan of action for the next 2 months.

Job Requirements :

• Diploma in Medical Technology or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Clinical Flowcytometry lab, with a focus on leukemia and lymphoma.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and conduct, both personally and professionally.
• Ability to travel 20% - 40% of the year.
