To work as a precision engineer operates special-purpose equipment & machines to manufacture components and parts. To accomplish this, the engineer will need to read technical manuals, specifications to determine dimensions & tolerances of finished parts. He is also able to program CAD/CAM for machining programs and the parts setting-up requirements.
