We are presently seeking candidate for the position of Platform Engineer. This role is to engage in various projects and impact assessments related to the data transformations for Finance Technology Systems.

Key Responsibilities

· Attending impact assessment sessions, and actively participate in reviews with the subject matter experts in Finance Technology.

· Perform impact analysis on the existing system functionalities with respect to the new proposed changes.

· Discuss with requestors to gather and ascertain requirements.

· Development/SIT Testing/ UAT Support/Implementation

· Work with users on the requirements/clarifications and attending to UAT queries.

· Help to prepare the FS documents and walkthrough the functional specifications with requestors.

· Assisting the Stream Lead in the delivery of the project and on the coordination with various stakeholders.

· Step in as a Technical Delivery Manager to manage the end-to-end delivery of the assignment, when demanded.

· Deliver the project / tasks within the committed timelines.

· Maintain the risks and issues tracker and see them to closure.

Key Requirements

• 5 years + relevant experience in Informatica Power Centre (ETL) - (Designer, Repository Manager, Workflow Manager), ETL tools, Oracle 19c (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL) and strong Data Analytical skills
• Strong on DW Fundamentals, concepts
• Understands and review technical requirements, designs ETL process flow and walkthroughs and performs data profiling of required source systems.
• Excellent understanding of various relational database design concepts.
• Extensive experience in Data Modelling & Architecture.
• Experience full lifecycle data warehouse development.
• Strong experience in Data Migration and Data Quality initiatives.
• Error handling and Performance Improvements.
• Conduct and participate in design and code walkthroughs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The System engineer is responsible in specializing in High-Performance Computing (HPC), you will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, and optimization of complex computational systems. Leveraging your expertise in HPC technologies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and performance of high-performance computing environments.

System Design and Implementation:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance computing systems to meet the organization's computational needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand performance requirements and hardware specifications.

Parallel Computing:

• Implement and optimize parallel computing techniques to enhance system performance.
• Leverage parallel programming languages and frameworks for efficient task execution.

Cluster Management:

• Manage and optimize HPC clusters, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain cluster management tools for efficient resource utilization.

Performance Tuning:

• Analyze and fine-tune system configurations, hardware, and software for optimal performance.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in HPC applications.

Job Scheduling:

• Utilize job scheduling systems to allocate computational resources and manage workloads efficiently.
• Collaborate with users to understand job requirements and prioritize computing tasks.

Networking and Interconnects:

• Configure and optimize high-speed interconnects, such as InfiniBand, for fast data transfer between nodes.
• Collaborate with network administrators to ensure seamless communication within HPC environments.

Distributed File Systems:

• Implement and manage distributed file systems for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Optimize data access and transfer mechanisms to support large-scale computations.

Fault Tolerance and Reliability:

• Implement strategies for fault tolerance to ensure system reliability during long-running computations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to minimize downtime.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of HPC system configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Develop user guides and training materials for HPC users.

Stay Updated:

• Keep abreast of emerging trends and advancements in HPC technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions to enhance system capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on High-Performance Computing.
• Knowledge of HPC architectures, technologies, and parallel programming languages.

Technical Proficiency:

• Familiarity with cluster management tools, job scheduling systems, and distributed file systems.
• Experience with high-speed interconnects (e.g., InfiniBand) and networking in HPC environments.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex HPC challenges.

Communication:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.

You will be part of an IT infrastructure Support Team managing mission critical high-tech biometrics devices at critical locations of significant national interest. You will be trained to manage, troubleshoot and maintain the operational availability of these devices and to remedy faults to prevent operational down-time.

As a IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the following :-

• Assist the project teams with setting up, installing, and configuring operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices for PCs/Workstations.
• Provide first level on-site IT support to end-users on a 24x7 rotational shift, including weekends and holidays.
• The successful applicants should be prepared to be deployed primarily at Tuas Checkpoint. The successful applicant could be deployed to Tuas checkpoint in future on a rotational basis.
• Provide findings and timely status update to the Project Manager on major issues escalated by users.
• Perform daily health check and inventory check on system.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC/peripheral devices and providing application maintenance support is necessary.
• Hands-on experience in supporting end-users in a Windows (Windows clients) environment is required.

• Having prior exposure to IT operational environments is advantageous.

• Communicates well and has good interpersonal skills.
