We are seeking one or more Postdoctoral Associates, Research Engineers, or Research Scientists in computer science or related fields to join a project on “Designing human-AI teams,” which is part of a five-year research program on "Mens, Manus and Machina—How AI Empowers People, Institutions and Cities in Singapore (M3S)."

Successful applicants for this position will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge, interdisciplinary projects that aim to dramatically rethink how people and AI systems will work together in the future. To do this, the project seeks to build a strong scientific foundation for how AI can augment (as opposed to replace) humans, and how humans can take advantage of the increased usefulness of AI systems across many tasks.

We will start by combining techniques from computer science and the social sciences to create online taxonomies of tasks and design space maps of many ways humans and AI systems can work together. For example, we will experiment with using machine learning or other techniques to discover patterns in data such as process repositories.

Then, using these knowledge bases, we will develop AI tools to automatically generate promising ways of combining humans and AI systems to perform different tasks. • Independently develop solutions to material & corrosion related problems by analyzing the issues/data, interpreting the analysis and evaluating various options/measures using experience, precedents and professional references.
• Participate in key stakeholder (Client / Supplier / Sub-contractor / Class) meetings, reviews stakeholders’ documents / comments and addresses interface/implementation/execution issues and escalates where necessary to ensure that the project proceeds timely and smoothly

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years (with Bachelor) / 6 years (with Master) relevant working experience as Materials /Corrosion Engineer in Oil and Gas Sector.
• Relevant experience in Offshore Oil and Gas Processing Facilities related to corrosion, corrosion mitigation strategies, corrosion monitoring, material selection, surface preparation and coatings, cathodic protection, metallurgy (welding, manufacturing), etc. and comprehensive knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards (NACE MR 0175 / ISO 15156, ISO 21457, ASME B31.3, NORSOK M001, NORSOK M501, etc.).
• Preferably, Senior Engineer should be familiar with processing facilities and understand main process concepts involving Oil Separation and Stabilization, Produced Water Treatment, Gas Sweetening and Dehydration, Gas Compression, Seawater Treatment, etc.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to maintain, upgrade and manage software, hardware and networks. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:

• Commissioning of AGV at customer sites which includes on-site user acceptance tests.
• Ensure the performance and reliability of the fleet of AGVs, network and customer site infrastructure.
• Provide high level troubleshooting to resolve issues that are beyond the capabilities of our first level support services from field technicians.
• Monitor the health and operations of the fleet of AGVs and proactively engage to resolve faults before they impact customer operations.
• Respond and provide technical guidance to customers regarding operational issues, software updates and general maintenance.
• Maintain up-to-date records of AGV and site configurations. This includes software and hardware configurations
• Communicate and collaborate with our global engineering teams

• Contribute to the creation of user manuals, customer guides, FAQs, application notes and best practices.
• Participate in Proof of Concept (demonstrations) with demo AGVs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma with experience in a technical field (including EE, ME, CS, Robotics).
• 3 years of relevant (customer facing) experience.
• Strong communication and people skills. Customer-centric mindset. Willingness to go above and beyond to keep customers happy.
• Experience with Linux (ideally Ubuntu) administration, tools and Bash/Python scripting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve device and system-level problems in Linux.
• Experience with firewalls, VPN and network security technologies
• Working knowledge of SSH, DNS and other network protocols
• Willingness to troubleshoot electro-mechanical components.
• Willingness to work within established systems and product results that either prevent problems from recurring or enable others to solve them more easily in the future.
