We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a GCC or multinational environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure automation, and release management, with proven expertise in tools like GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• CI/CD Pipeline Design and Optimization:Collaborate with development and operations teams to design efficient CI/CD pipelines that streamline the build, test, and deployment processes.
  Implement GitLab CI/CD best practices, optimizing pipelines to reduce build times and enhance deployment efficiency.
  Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) scripts to automate GitLab infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  Use GitLab APIs and CI/CD scripts to automate repetitive tasks, reducing manual intervention and increasing team productivity.
  
• Release Management:Design and manage multi-release deployments, ensuring smooth environment management across different stages.
  
• Infrastructure Automation and Management:Leverage IaC tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  
• Scripting and Automation:Write and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate processes, enhance system reliability, and support CI/CD workflows.
  

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role within a Ship/GCC or multinational environment.
• Skills:Proficiency in CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab CI/CD, and strong experience with configuration management and IaC tools such as Terraform.
  Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  Knowledge of version control systems, including Git.
  

The System Engineer is responsible to provide operational support to system infrastructure, support to the clients and resolution of technical issues and conducting root cause analysis. He is also required to manage change request through changes requests processes including requirement gathering, impact analysis, design, testing to integrate the change to existing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers in a Linux / Windows environment
• Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Test systems in accordance to specifications & service level
• Perform server hardware maintenance and upgrades
• Create test automation frameworks in collaboration with team members or other IT departments
• Develop tools to help increase functionality and efficiency of available infrastructure
• Maintain software repositories and apply software updates
• Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs
• Respond promptly to incident, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated. Provide timely status updates to relevant parties
• Conduct root cause analysis & implement pro-active measures
• Monitor & measure the performance & availability of systems proactively; implement corrective actions identified to improve performance & availability

Requirements:

• Degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a System Integration environment and/or managing infrastructure systems
• Familiar with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Wintel, Vmware, Storage Infrastructure, Veritas - Enterprise Netbackup
• Familiar Scripting skills in Python, Ruby, Perl, or a related language is a plus
• Experience with cloud computing is a plus
• Certification in one or more of the following is a plus: Wintel, Redhat, Vmware, EMC storage, veritas Netbackup
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain technology from a customer perspective
