The Regional Sales and Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for strategizing, planning and executing for business growth. The job holder manages the Principal to develop new customer segments, create demands, identify opportunities, source for leads, engage the prospects, follow through and secure the deals to meet/exceed the sales targets, as well as to engage, train, service and support the customers and users on an on-going basis.

The Regional Sales and Marketing Manager also works closely with the Group Directors to drive and foster a culture of accountability, performance, excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Development and Sales Management

• Drive the pursuit of the company’s mission, vision and core values to foster a committed, competent and growth-oriented workforce.
• Strategise and plan for business growth to achieve the overall financial performance targets and sales targets for various products relevant to different regions.
• Drive a culture of effective cost management and resource optimisation.
• Lead change management in an integrated manner, lead transformation projects and deal with issues to improve organisational agility and performance.
• Foster strategic business partner relationships with stakeholders to further the Group’s business objectives

2. Branding, Marketing and Products Development

• Oversee the organising of marketing and promotion events and activities, education and collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders and suppliers.
• Formulate demand creation strategies and new product service offerings, sharpen sales channel utilisation and lead new business initiatives to improve revenue streams and meet market demands
• Continually engage customers and users to understand their evolving needs and introduce new products and solutions to meet their needs.
• Lead the scanning and assessment of industry developments, competition landscape customers’ evolving needs, government initiatives and regulatory changes to identify and seek business opportunities.
• Conceptualise and decide on branding matters, marketing positioning and communications, as well as review and approve marketing materials/collaterals
• Support and facilitate the country directors and business unit managers to formulate and execute sales plans and activities
• Continually review the portfolio of solutions and products and decide on initiatives to boost sales, maintain profitability or enhance customer stickiness
• Identify, source and introduce new solutions and products that are of interest and value to customers.
• Lead the launch plans, training & competency assessment to support the roll out of new products

3. Process Efficiency and Adoption of Technology

• Provide oversight and direct the improvement of business processes and work procedures to raise productivity and efficiency
• Direct and oversee implementation of customer relationships management and process improvement projects, jointly with the local Offices
• Critically oversee cost management ensuring that resources are optimally utilised, wastages are minimised, and inventory is moving and at optimal level.
• Drive the identification and implementation of new technologies to enhance business

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Business Management or Healthcare related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in commercial role with at least 3 years in a manager role
• Familiarity with the medical devices
• Leadership and managerial skills and experience

Leadership & Managerial Role:

• Assist to provide overall leadership within the Centre including decision making and ensuring discipline to achieve the objectives and meet the service requirements of the Active Ageing Centre model.
• Assist to plan, assign, direct and supervise the deployment of staff and resources to achieve the objectives and meet the service requirements.

Position Summary:

To directly own and manage the commercial sales activities and results for the fluorescent dye and the fluorescence imaging system in territory of SE Asia.

The Sales Manager for Southeast Asia will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing distributor and direct sales channels, and developing strategic partnerships within the region.

This role includes overseeing sales activities, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with the company’s objectives. The candidate will have a deep understanding of local markets into which fluorescence technologies can be sold across SE Asia and be skilled in cross-cultural communication.

Territories will include but not limited to Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Malaysia.

The position will require extensive travel and is a field-based role. Key activities will revolve around supporting the Company and seek business for both the diagnostic agent and camera across the specified region.

As a Sales function the role is responsible for delivering the sales plan in terms of financial performance and qualitative objectives. (e.g. market share gains, account growth, customer support improvements).

These activities will be focused specifically on the Asia market covering both the private and public healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan for SE Asia, aligned with overall company objectives.
• Achievement of the Sales Plan in terms of financial performance and qualitative objectives (market share gains, account growth etc.).
• Identify opportunities for business expansion and market penetration across key industries.
• Clinical and technical sales support for surgeons and associated staff in the Asia market.
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, partners, and clients.
• Direct responsibility for:

1. Develop market overview and strategy for the direct sales channel in Asia.
2. Prospect, define and develop new accounts and business in addition to growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio to support a balanced sales funnel for growth.
3. Manage the overall sales process and coordinate, own and ensure completion of the necessary pre and post sales tasks. i.e. prospecting, demonstrations, evaluations, quotations, fittings, follow up, cash collection.

• Maintain strong after-sales contact and develop long-term customer relationships.

Technical / Clinical

• Develop and maintain a high level of product & clinical knowledge of competitive products.
• Ensure knowledge base is maintained with up-to-date awareness of the latest clinical papers/publications.
• Development of training material for hospital surgical use.
• Training of hospital staff and others who sell fluorescence into the market (near infrared camera providers). Provision of second line technical customer support to include troubleshooting remotely & on site.

General

• Ensure full compliance with all operating, forecasting and reporting processes & rigor. Update and follow-up the CRM system, orders and sales forecasts and provide market share and win-loss information in line with time schedule.
• Establish strong relationships & work closely with global teams to ensure customer intimacy and sales opportunities are maximized.
• Attend applicable trade shows, study days and conferences as applicable.
• Host courses, study days and events, ensuring good attendance and event follow up.
• Any other duty reasonably required for the effectiveness of sales activities
• Ensure all sales activities comply with local regulations and company policies.

Experience and Capabilities:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent/graduate degree preferred in a science (Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related science) and/or technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years clinical sales experience within the Asia healthcare sector (preferred surgical operating field).
• Direct knowledge of healthcare systems and Hospital structures.
• Experience in training and direct contact with surgeons.
• Knowledge of complex selling processes such as tenders or contractual agreements.
• Commercially driven with strong negotiating skills.
