• Perform other QS-related duties as assigned by the Reporting Supervisor

Requirements

• Possess Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent

Responsibilities:

· QS roles & responsibilities including pre/post contract duties, taking off quantities, cost control, variations, finalization of cost and tender administrative orders

· To obtain sub -contractors and supplier’s quotation for costing and do cost comparisons

· To source for existing and new vendors, compilation of quotation & competitive prices and

summarizing subcontracts, materials and equipment

· To manage overall project costs and budget

· To attend site meetings

· Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements

· Degree in quantity surveying or equivalent

· At least 3-5 years of working experience in the construction (civil engineering / road works)

· Knowledge in tendering processes and contracts

· Able to multi task and work independently while meeting tight deadlines

· Knowledge in MS office, AutoCAD, 3DS max/ sketch ups or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Mechanical/Electrical drawings including proposal and ensuring technical compliance from suppliers and vendors.
• Liaising with consultant and customer to meet project contractual specifications.
• Taking off Quantities, BQ preparations, pricing and preparation of tender submission and questionnaires, obtain quotation from subcontractors/suppliers.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Exposure in QS consultancy work environment.
• Proficient technical knowledge - measurement, cost estimating, construction technology, contracts and law.
• Understand and be competent with professional practice and contract administration processes.
• Required language(s): English
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Self-motivated with good team player and positive attitude.
