We are now looking for a General Manager, Wärtsilä Energy Marketing & Communications, Middle East and Asia. This opportunity is a 3-month fixed term assignment, and it’s location is Singapore.

Responsibilities

• In this role you will lead the Wärtsilä Energy’s Middle East and Asia (MEA) marketing and communications activities and act as leader for the area marketing & communications team.

• The team’s mission is to build awareness for Wärtsilä in MEA focus markets, organise communications to support active market development, increase preference of Wärtsilä’s solutions and services among target customers through locally relevant value propositions and effective use of marketing channels as well as generating leads. The team also supports MEA experts in building thought leadership.

Requirements:

The job holder will be responsible for the admissions processes of our various MSc programmes but with oversight of dedicated MSc programme(s), as well as Graduate Certificate programmes in collaboration with other team colleagues. S/he will work with the various stakeholders (Academic Director, relevant faculty members, students, internal and external stakeholders) to ensure the smooth running of the admissions process of our programmes. ● Manage full set of accounts for the business and Japan holding company’s needs

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee the filing of regular tax returns, tax audit / inquiries and notices from tax authorities, GST/VAT and withholding tax
• Lead implementation of Pillar 2 compliance for the Group
• Assist the group to comply with transfer pricing rules and plan comprehensive tax and transfer pricing strategies through the use of Organisation for Economic Cooperation (OECD) guidelines' and Singapore transfer pricing guidelines' methodologies.
• Manage all Singapore GST matters for the group ensuring tax compliance with GST regulations

Position Summary:

In this position you will be the main business partner to our Application and Data Security customer facing teams in APJ by providing adequate sales and product trainings that enable faster go to market and higher productivity. You’ll drive and facilitate the overall learning journey for our sales teams and contribute to how we develop, deliver, and reinforce our content. You’ll support new hires and new-to-role hires throughout their onboarding journey with Thales, and partner with the wider Global Sales Enablement (GSE) team to drive both regional and global enablement continuous education programs.

Responsibilities:

• Drive global and region-specific enablement initiatives.
• Own and nurture relationships with geographical leaders.
• Ensure alignment between global and regional efforts.
• Provide regular feedback to all GSE Teams to inform global strategies & programs.
• Lead and facilitate virtual product education and coaching, as well as systems & process training to our APJ sales audience.

Your Role:
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of application test software, device drivers and customer reference software. You will be working in various aspects of the SoC development in FPGA prototyping, post silicon validation and customer reference applications.

• As the team manager you will lead the engineers to effectively fulfil the embedded software team charter and provides both technical and personal development guidance to the team members.
• Work closely with SoC Design and Verification engineers to develop a comprehensive and complimentary validation test plan.
• Participate in SoC design reviews to have in-depth understanding of the chip.

Your Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years in firmware development in ARM-based MCU products.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Semiconductor industry or equivalent technical knowledge/experience in electronics circuit design.
• Understanding of ARM architecture, heterogeneous multicore system, and communication interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, Bluetooth, SPI, I2C, UART, SDMMC will have an added advantage.
• Understanding of DVP, Graphics accelerator and machine learning models deployment.
