Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manages the accounting and finance staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, budget preparation, investment management and fund raising.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Regularly reviews existing internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation and puts in place incremental measures as required and in line with best practice.
• Oversees and provides input into the preparation of regular business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets (based on a clear understanding of the organisation).
• Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards and requirements.
