Our client is looking for a suitable candidate to join their team as Systems and Cloud Engineer, reporting to the Hosting and Storage Management Tower, collaborates with Managed Services Partners, IT teams, and business stakeholders to design, build, and support on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based (Azure and AWS) infrastructure solutions. This role ensures service delivery, support, and alignment with business needs while serving as a trusted advisor in IT transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer IT infrastructure solutions for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
• Act as a subject matter expert for infrastructure and end-user technologies.
• Provide Level 3 support for IT Shared Services and Cloud operations.
• Manage and resolve system incidents through root cause analysis and problem management.
• Implement changes following established processes and develop/maintain infrastructure standards.
• Support service delivery and meet service level agreements for business and IT stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; 5-7 years' experience in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), VMware, Microsoft, and Linux.
• Technical Skills:Expertise in Azure, AWS, VMware, Active Directory, and Windows OS.
  Knowledge of system tools like SCCM, SCOM, Dyna Trace, and SolarWinds.
  Strong storage virtualization and network technology understanding.
  Certifications in Cloud, VMware, and Microsoft technologies.
  
• Soft Skills:Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  Proactive, collaborative team player with stakeholder management skills.
  Ability to influence and align teams toward shared goals.
  

Additional: Experience in health/security IT operations is advantageous. Minimal travel (<5%), with on-call responsibilities for operational escalations.

This role demands a blend of technical expertise, operational support, and strategic alignment to drive infrastructure excellence.

• Plan, lead and supervise upgrading works, addition and alteration works
• Lead a team of supervisors and workers and oversight of manpower for project execution
• Ensure designs / drawings meet relevant code and compliance requirements, and good engineering practices
• To attend site matters / discussions to resolve technical / site issues and progress matters
• Continuing to improve all installation works schedule and quality of work through proper planning of work method, materials procurement and selection, and efficient site management
• Monitor and control project schedule, materials delivery and budget etc
• Liaise coordinate with clients, consultant, project supervisors and sub-contractors on project related issues and to ensure project objectives are met
• To supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications
• Establish and maintain a detailed tracking and filing system of all documents
• To prepare, submit Variation Claims with instruction documents & part-plan from client
• Maintain all filing systematically & uploading of softcopies in the system
• To place materials order to Purchaser in advance as per Order list as per site requirement
• Responsible for ensuring implementing safety measures

• Back-up for the Head, Compliance in his absence (depending on experience).
• Perform the role of Deputy Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer in the latter’s absence (depending on experience).
• Review and check customer due diligence measures (for both onboarding and periodic review) performed by respective business units in relation to Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism (CDD) for the entire portfolio of the Branch arising primarily from corporate banking and secondarily from deposit collection, global financial institutions, trade finance and treasury investment.

• Track completion progress and status of management issues raised by statutory and internal auditors and inspectors from the MAS.
• Compliance testing on adherence of regulations based on bank-wide compliance testing programme.
• Handle all outsourcing activities, ensuring compliance with notices and guidelines issued by MAS, including confidentiality requirements, on-going monitoring and control and on-site review.
• Ensure timely submission of returns/reports to ICC.
• Implement EGRC framework for assessing compliance risk of the Branch.
